Cangwu green garden was built in 1997, covering an area of 428 mu. It is adjacent to Cangwu community in the East, Dongfang garden in the south, farmers' market in the West and Yuntai hotel in the north. The largest urban ecological green space in Jiangsu Province. The four entrances of East, West, South and North are directly connected with the main roads in the urban area, so the traffic is very convenient. Cangwu green garden was established to provide a place for leisure and entertainment for urban people. Cangwu Green Park is a leisure and sports place with five games and six parks. Every year, more than 200 national fitness activities are held in Cangwu Green Park, which is the main position of Lianyungang's real cultural and sports activities.

Cangwu Green Park, built in 1997, is one of the free parks in Lianyungang City. It often holds all kinds of car shows, wedding activities and so on. It is 570 meters long from east to west and 480 meters long from north to south, covering a total area of 280000 square meters, of which the land area is 234000 square meters, accounting for 83.6% of the total green park area; the water area is 46000 square meters, accounting for 16.4% of the total green park area. In the land, the green area is 189400 square meters, accounting for 67.64%; the paving area of Garden Road and square is 42000 square meters, accounting for 15%; the building area is 2600 square meters, accounting for 0.93%. The total length of roads above secondary roads in the park is about 4 km. The whole green park has five landscape functional areas, namely central square scenic area, natural landscape scenic area, game activity area, sports and leisure area, Bamboo Island classification Park, etc.

More than 4300 large-scale seedlings such as Cinnamomum camphora, Magnolia grandiflora, Cedrus deodarum, Ginkgo biloba, Pinus thunbergii, Albizia julibrissin, Koelreuteria paniculata and Sapium sebiferum are planted in the garden, 50000 flowering shrubs, 160000 square meters of ground cover and 50000 grass flowers are planted, and 3560 square meters of bamboo forests such as Polygonatum odoratum, Dendrocalamus Buddha and Phyllostachys nigra are planted in the Bamboo Island. The central square is equipped with 6 style lights, 40 wall lights, 6 butterfly lights, 30 Magnolia floodlights, 44 cedar floodlights, sound of music lights, modern city lights, etc.

Up to 3000 people come here every day for morning exercise and fitness. Cangwu Green Park has also become the main front for Lianyungang City to hold various outdoor large, medium and small cultural and sports activities. The greening of Bamboo Island takes bamboo culture as the theme and bamboo landscaping as the main feature, forming a bamboo garden. Tourism characteristics

In 2003, Cangwu green garden was listed as one of the key projects of Lianyungang City's urban construction. The large-scale bronze embossed murals on the walls on both sides of the gate of Cangwu green garden after the transformation are an important part of the transformation. The murals were created by a famous painter from Lianyungang, Professor Yan Dong, director of the mural Department of the Academy of fine arts of Tsinghua University, master's supervisor, and southern art student Chen Lei. They were processed and produced by the metal technology practice base of the Academy of fine arts of Tsinghua University. The historical materials were provided by Mr. Peng Yun, a famous scholar in Lianyungang City.
