Yu Fangzhou's former residence is 30 kilometers west of Lutai Town, Ninghe County, Tianjin, north of Jiefang Road, biaokou village, biaokou township.
It is 30 kilometers west of Lutai Town, Ninghe County, Tianjin city, and north of Jiefang Road, biaokou village, biaokou township. It was built in 1943 and has its own courtyard. It covers an area of 326.7 square meters and a building area of 102.4 square meters. Martyr Yu Fangzhou once engaged in revolutionary activities with Comrade Zhou Enlai in Tianjin, founded "Xinsheng society", and was one of the founders of the party organization of Tianjin Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China. On December 30, 1927, he was killed when he led a peasant riot in Yutian County. The original brick house, courtyard and wall were destroyed by the earthquake in 1976. After that, the city allocated funds to restore the original appearance, paint and beautify the courtyard. After restoration, there is a gate tower in the West Cross courtyard, which connects with the main courtyard and has a moon gate in it. In front of the door of the former residence is inscribed with the horizontal joint plaque of "Yu Fangzhou's former residence". On the east wall of the main courtyard in front of the house, there is a "light of Tianjin gate" ceramic wall inscribed by Tianjin mayor Li Ruihuan. There is a wall outside and a flower pool passage inside. In 1959 and 1981, it was designated as a key cultural relics protection unit at the county level. Later, it was designated as a key cultural relics protection unit in Tianjin.
