Monument to the Soviet Red Army
One is the "memorial tower of the Red Army martyrs of the Soviet Union" (moved in 1990 when Harbin railway station was expanded and reconstructed), and the other is the "monument of the Red Army martyrs of the Soviet Union". The monument is located in the museum square and was built by the headquarters of the Red Army of the Soviet Union in 1945 to commemorate the Soviet soldiers who died in the war against the Japanese aggressors.

In 2000, the surrounding environment of the monument was transformed, with guardrails built and flowers and trees planted. Former Soviet President Yeltsin laid a wreath here during his visit to Kazakhstan. On the army day of the former Soviet Union in February every year, local party, political and military leaders come here to pay homage.
