Grand View Park

Daguan Park has near Huapu and Daguanlou, Louwailou, flower garden and park. The garden has luxuriant flowers and trees, rockeries, pavilions, small bridges and flowing water. The scenery is extremely beautiful. After entering the park, you can visit Yongyue Pavilion, Ningbi hall, Range Rover Pavilion, Guanjia hall and other pavilions. The grand view building in the garden is built near the water. It was built during the reign of Emperor Kangxi. Facing the Dianchi Lake, it has a distant view of the western mountains and enjoys the scenery of lakes and mountains. There are many excellent works on the inscribed plaques and couplets of Daguanlou, the most famous of which is the long couplets of Daguanlou. South Garden of grand view building (Yu Garden) needs to go by boat. It is mainly composed of old buildings and gardens with beautiful scenery and relatively quiet. In addition, it is the former residence of Yu Chengqing's grandfather. During the festive season, there are often garden parties and sometimes traditional lantern fairs. Tourists come in an endless stream and are very busy.

Grand View Park

Daguan Park is located on the Bank of Dianchi Lake, about 2km west of Kunming city. It was built in the first year of Hongwu in Ming Dynasty. In the 35th year of the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty (1696 AD), the grand view building was built, which gave the park its name. With an area of more than 700 mu, it is the largest park in the urban area. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong, sun ranweng, a famous scholar, came to the grand view building and wrote a 180 word long couplet, which vividly displayed the scenery of Dianchi Lake and Yunnan's thousands of years of history. As soon as the long couplet came out, it shocked all sides. People vied with each other to spread it. It was known as "the first couplet in China".

Historical evolution

Daguanlou is located in the southwest of Kunming City, adjacent to the north shore of Caohai Lake in Dianchi Lake, facing Taihua mountain in cangxiu Duanyan, also known as "near Huapu". In the early Ming Dynasty, muying, king of qianning, built the "West Garden" here. In the early years of Emperor Kangxi of Qing Dynasty, Wu Sangui ruled Yunnan and dredged the Yunliang River from Zhuantang of xiaoximen to Caohai, which is now Daguan river. In 1682, qianyin monk founded Guanyin temple near Huapu. In 1690, Yunnan governor Wang Jiwen built Huayan Pavilion, cugengguan, Guanjia hall, mumeng Pavilion, Yongyue Pavilion, Chengbi hall and Daguanlou near Huapu. Along the embankment, yulanzhu, huanduji, diluowan, Wenjin port, seeing off Island, shiyichuan, yibiexi, hezhouting, juyucun and other scenic spots were opened, Near Huapu, it has become a tourist attraction of "Yuanpu, yaocen, windsurfing, smoke trees, good at the victory of lakes and mountains".

Kunming Grand View Building, built in Qing Dynasty, is a famous Chinese building with a short history, which has not been recognized by tourists. During the reign of Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty, the grand view building was built. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong, sun ran and Weng Changlian came out. "The Dianchi Lake of five hundred Li came to our eyes" and "the past of thousands of years came to our heart". It was only with strong momentum and dazzling splendor. At the end of the Qing Dynasty, Yunlong evaluated the Grand View Tower: "it is as magnificent as the Yellow Crane in Yueyang, and each has its own name in the universe..." Mao Zedong thought that the long-term couplets "never existed in ancient times, and created a new style". Dong Biwu, Chen Yi and Guo Moruo all wrote poems to praise Daguanlou and the long-term couplets.

Daguanlou has preserved the couplets, plaques, inscriptions and inscriptions written by many historical and cultural celebrities since the Qing Dynasty, including the inscriptions of Xianfeng, the couplets written by song Xiang, Ruan Yuan, Ma Rulong, Zhao fan, Chen Rongchang, Yunlong and Wang can, the plaques of Tang Jiyao and the poems written by Guo Moruo Rich historical and cultural relics constitute the excellent traditional culture of Daguanlou. Daguanlou, near Huapu, has well preserved the classical garden buildings built since the 29th year of Kangxi (1690). Among them are the square octagonal double eaves gatehouse near Huapu, the cuigeng hall, Guanjia hall, Chengbi hall with single eaves and carved doors and windows, the unique Mu Meng Pavilion, Yong Yue Pavilion and the corridor along the lake. These traditional ancient buildings not only reflect the style of ancient buildings in Qing Dynasty of China, but also have the characteristics of local ethnic architecture in Yunnan. They are the exhibition garden of garden architecture in Qing Dynasty of Yunnan.

Park features

Daguanlou is famous both at home and abroad for its long-term couplets, and it has become the four famous buildings as well as the Yellow Crane Tower, Yueyang Tower and Tengwang Pavilion. Mao Zedong, Dong Biwu and Guo Moruo spoke highly of them. In terms of gardening techniques, the garden staff closely focus on the artistic conception layout of sun Weng's Changlian, constantly improve the level of the garden, and fully display the features of "nine summer hibiscus, three spring willows" and "Grand View". The garden is luxuriant in flowers and trees. Rockeries, pavilions, bridges and flowing water create an elegant and meaningful atmosphere.

Historical praise

The grand view building in the park has a history of more than 300 years and is the most important landscape in the park. Daguanlou was built during the reign of Emperor Kangxi. It is named because it faces the Dianchi Lake, overlooks the western mountains and enjoys the scenery of lakes and mountains. After entering the park, you can visit Yongyue Pavilion, Ningbi hall, Range Rover Pavilion, Guanjia hall and other pavilions. The grand view building, the most valuable one in the garden, is built near the water. The building is three stories high, among which there are many excellent works of inscribed plaques and couplets. During the reign of Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty, sun ranweng, a poor man in Buyi, wrote 180 word long couplets with great momentum and far-reaching artistic conception. For hundreds of years, they have been well-known and praised as "the first long couplets in the world". Mao Zedong highly praised them as "unprecedented and innovative". Daguanlou also ranks among the "famous buildings in China" because of its "peerless long-term couplet".
