In the south of the Kaiyuan Temple site, mannquan is a shallow cave, which is named for its sweet water. The water flows down from the cliff, and the water potential is very small, such as dew drops sliding, also known as "drip spring". The stele of famous spring in Jin Dynasty, the poem of 72 springs in Ming Dynasty by Yan Bi and the record of 72 springs in Qing Dynasty by Hao Zhigong are all included. There were many inscriptions on the stone wall. According to Li Cheng Yu Di of Ming Dynasty, "a cave in Da Fo Shan Temple, its water trickles down and converges into a pool. It has a very sweet taste. It has the five characters of" natural spring ". In 1108, Li Gefei (the father of Li Qingzhao), a scholar of the Northern Song Dynasty, accompanied Liang Yan, the governor of Qizhou, on a tour, and wrote the eight characters "Li Gefei, the emperor of the Qing Dynasty, uncle Wen". According to the records in the renewal of Licheng county annals published in the early years of the Republic of China, Wu SWA, the governor of Qizhou, and his colleagues in Huiyin spring during the Chongning period of Song Dynasty; Liang Yan, the governor of Qizhou during the Daguan period of Song Dynasty; CAI juhou, the governor of Qizhou during the Zhenghe period; Ji Dexiu and Zhang Li, the governor of Qizhou during the Zhenghe period, tried tea in this spring. In the Ming Dynasty, Wu Xing and Xu Xianzhong used it to test tea and put the spring into water. Dong Yun, a poet of the Qing Dynasty, once chanted the poem "Da Fo Shan", saying: "Wenbi peak is high, bird path is hanging, and Kaiyuan ancient temple is at sunset. When to sweep the leaves of the wind forest and try the dew spring in the mountain. " Therefore, this spring is also known as "trial tea spring".
In the past, there were many begonias beside the spring pool, so the spring pool was also called "Begonia pool". There was a pavilion on the spring, named "Dilu Pavilion". Due to years of wind and rain erosion, the inscriptions on the stone wall beside the spring are now unclear, and the Begonia trees and the Dilu pavilion have long disappeared. However, the spring is still flowing in the pool
