The gallery is located in a building designed and built by Liu Jiakun, a famous architect in Chengdu, with a total exhibition area of 550 square meters. Yang Mian, a famous artist, is invited to renovate the gallery, providing the most perfect exhibition space for the presentation of art works.

Fu Yu and Zhang Shuang's double Exhibition "cold happiness" will be held on December 17 in Chengdu. "Cold happiness" is similar to "cold humor": an intention and impulse to be happy, but whether one can feel real happiness depends on the inner feelings and actual experience of the viewer. All along, Zhang Shuang's creation has been carried out on the paper. The initial blank of the paper and its own texture have brought unlimited creative desire and unbounded inner expression to Zhang Shuang. Through the invisible communication between characters with different shapes and expressions and the surrounding environment, it creates a richer and more full of plot effect and emotional transmission than Zhang Shuang's "little witch" series a few years ago. In Fu Yu's creation, animals are endowed with life and soul, transformed into various characters, placed in the photo frame, and then placed in the special scene; the existence and composition of all elements originate from Fu Yu's inner feelings and memory. Fu Yu's and Zhang Shuang's works are both cold and joyful in nature: when the original elements of the painting that can bring relaxed pleasure are fused with the artist's complex heart and rich emotions, they create an atmosphere with a sense of sadness and loneliness; as for happiness and unhappiness, it is the viewer's own feeling.

In the 1980s, when great changes took place in Chinese social thought and art, a kind of historical research method, small history and micro history, which is different from "capital history", is popular in the West. This kind of bottom-up history is gradually changing the mode of historical research.

To this day, we still need to ask "who am I?" Especially in the eastern society, advocating selflessness makes us abandon the concept of "self". In the society, we can clearly distinguish "human" and "self", but it is difficult to find self. This has a great relationship with the cognition and identification of self subjectivity. Accustomed to questioning the other and the other, "self" questioning has become a luxury in the formation of thought and cognition. The flowing time filters the theme of thinking. Self value is socialized and becomes unable to extricate itself. Self identity is more often presented as a kind of social recognition and mainstream value identity. It is a game of memory fragmentation and remembrance to quiesce the self from bottom to top. Social memory will be incorporated into the object of personal memory, and the concept and perception of "self" will be gradually outlined with memory.

The innate "memory" is not a new thing or postnatal regeneration, but its form of expression has gone through a tortuous process. The order of time and space has become a new body of knowledge, and the past has been superimposed in the spatial knowledge to form our early "memory" - the transformation of spatial perception into knowledge order.

In the 1970s and 1980s, the relationship between the film's own narrative and the audience became the focus. When the focus was placed in the matrix of painting concept, it was easy to neglect the self-identity developed from leaving the matrix of painting. Memory suture was just a kind of image expression under self questioning. The problem he solved was the "combination of mind and knowledge" between painting and the audience, which was not only the superposition of self memory, but also the combination of self memory It is the stitching of visual text.

This exhibition attempts to explore the presentation of people's knowledge of space and past events in the concept of "self" through changing art forms. The exhibition works will show the tension of the artist's heart in the picture through "memory", "self" and "suture".
