Taihuyuan scenic spot is located at the southern foot of Tianmu Mountain in Lin'an, Hangzhou. The main source of Taihu Lake is located here, so it is named Taihuyuan. The main scenic spots are: longxubi, yunbitan, Siyuan corridor, Qianren cliff, Shenfeng Valley, shuanglongtan, ancient Buddha courtyard, baizhanggu, Xianrentai and Jiyuan altar.

The scenic spot is 20km away from Lin'an City, 65km away from Hangzhou, and about three hours' drive away from Shanghai, Nanjing, Suzhou and other big cities. With obvious location advantages, it is an excellent place for tourism and leisure.

Hangzhou city to Lin'an Taihu Lake source

Lin'an has convenient transportation and a high-grade highway leading to Hangzhou. Drive along Genshan Road, Huancheng North Road and Tianmushan road in the urban area of Hangzhou. After leaving the urban area of Hangzhou, drive about 45 kilometers westward along Hangyu first-class highway. After passing Gudang, Liuliu, Xianlin, Shihe, qingshanlin and mujiaqiao, you can reach Jincheng in Lin'an district.

It's only 35 minutes' drive from Hangzhou West bus station to Jincheng Town, where Lin'an district government is located, with air-conditioned bus. Hangzhou West bus station is located at 112 Xixi road. Take bus No.156 at Hangzhou railway station, and then turn to bus No.30 at the bus head office. Air conditioned bus from 05:40 to 18:40, to Lin'an east bus station, the fare is 10 yuan. From the exit of the east bus station, you can take bus No.16 from daxishu street to the entrance of the scenic spot.

From Shanghai to the source of Taihu Lake in Lin'an

Starting from Shanghai, take humin Road, then drive through Xinzhuang to Huhang expressway, and enter the west of Genshan road in Hangzhou at Pengbu overpass of Expressway to enter the urban area of Hangzhou. The journey is about 2 hours.
