brief introduction
Guangxiang bridge: the two ends of the bridge are set with vertical strips, and I-shaped blocks are set on them. Each block is separated by six lotus covered pillars, and stone drums are set at the end. There are 21 stone steps on both sides of the bridge. Each stage is 0.12M thick and 0.50m wide. The arch rings seem to be built in parallel lengthways (because the longitudinal joints are not straight), like bridges in song and Yuan Dynasties. The arched stone has a pattern of lotus seat, on which is engraved "Amitabha Buddha in the South", and on one of the arched stones is also engraved "light in ancient times On the auspicious day of May ·Wait. There are two transverse tie stones at one fourth of the arch. In Du Chunsheng's Yuezhong Jinshi Ji, there is a inscription on Guangxiang bridge. The bridge was first built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty, Qianlong and Jiaqing periods of the Qing Dynasty. It was rebuilt. On a lotus petal pillar near the end of the bridge, it is engraved with the inscription "rebuilt on the auspicious day of the first year of Longqing (1567)". (Note: the missing words on some arch stone)
The bridge is named after Guangxiang temple. It was first built in 1341 and rebuilt in 1567. It was renovated in 1982. Single hole stone arch bridge, north-south trend, across the old city. The total length is 30.28 meters, the width is 6.9 meters, and the clear span is 8.5 meters. The arch stones are built in parallel in longitudinal sections. The design of lotus seat is engraved on the arch stones, and inscriptions such as "Amitabha Buddha in the South" and "zhizhengxin has reconstructed the bridge of light phase" are engraved on them. On the bridge, there are solid railings and lotus covered watchposts, among which the northern watchpost is engraved with the words "rebuilt on the auspicious day of the first year of Longqing". The bridge is one of the well preserved stone bridges in Shaoxing. It has a certain practical value for the study of stone bridge in water town.
In May 2013, Guangxiang bridge was merged with Bazi bridge, Guangning bridge, Silong bridge, Taiping Bridge, Xiegong bridge, tifan bridge, Baiwang bridge, Jiedu bridge, Rongguang bridge, Jingkou bridge, xikuahu bridge and Yingen bridge, named Shaoxing ancient bridge group, and listed in the seventh batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

There are records in Jiatai Kuaiji Zhi, which are recorded in Du Chunsheng's Yuezhong Jinshi Ji“
"The bridge of light". The bridge was first built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. It was rebuilt during the reign of Emperor Qianlong and Emperor Jiaqing of the Qing Dynasty. On a lotus petal pillar near the end of the bridge, it is engraved with "the first year of Longqing (1567) was rebuilt on a auspicious day." The collapse of Guangxiang bridge in ancient times hindered the construction of the bridge. Now, we have invested in the reconstruction of Guangxiang cave bridge, in order to make the bridge last forever.

relevant
Guangxiang temple was built during the reign of Jin Yixi. Guangxiang bridge is the only way to Guangxiang temple.
The temple and the bridge have the same name. The bridge should have been built in the Eastern Jin Dynasty. The reconstruction of "Xinsi Zhizheng" is the reconstruction of "the first year of the text". According to textual research, this bridge should have been built before the Song Dynasty. The reasons are as follows: first, this kind of ancient bridge built side by side usually appeared before the Song Dynasty, and this type of bridge is rare in Shaoxing. This bridge type has been preserved until now, which indicates that the original bridge type has been retained in all previous renovations. The second is that the two monsters on the left and right sides of the arch are not stone lions, while the lion and beast bridge decorations generally appear after the Tang Dynasty. This bridge decoration is similar to the monsters on the tiles of Jin Dynasty. The decorative patterns of the bridge column and the balustrade are in the style of Jin Dynasty. The time characteristics of the Buddhist lotus decoration on the bridge column are the important textual research basis of the ancient bridge. Third, there are many kinds of stone materials on the bridge, among which the earliest bridge column has the same weathering degree as the Bazi bridge and Guangning bridge, indicating that the bridge was built before the Song Dynasty. All previous renovations have paid attention to the preservation of old materials in situ, which shows that the bridge type maintains the prototype. Fourthly, the inscription of Guangxiang bridge contains "ancient Guangxiang bridge" and "reconstructed Guangxiang cave bridge", which indicates that it was a semi-circular arch bridge before reconstruction, but it still retains its prototype after reconstruction.

In the heart of the country, there is no way to go to Linquan,
Even in terms of urban residence, it is like an immortal.

The mountain Pavilion is precipitous, and the cold smoke comes out.
Breeze rock osmanthus street house,
On the sunset Lake weir boat.
Is the bell in the West Temple as old as before?
When is the red bird near the monk.
