Maqiao Park
Maqiao park is located in the west of BeiSong Road, beifuyan Road, covering an area of 25200 square meters. It was built in March 2002, with a total investment of 7.2 million yuan.
Park history
In November 2011, local greening transformation and facilities upgrading were carried out on the basis of the original square green space,
It was officially opened as a park in March 2012.
Park attractions
There are three entrances and exits in the south-east and north of the park, with winding roads and verdant trees, mainly including more than 100 kinds of plants, such as Cinnamomum camphora, Lagerstroemia indica, Malus pendula, etc., and equipped with typical plants and flowers in spring, summer, autumn and winter, forming a pleasant spring like scenery. In the park, there are five bronze sculptures with traditional culture of Maqiao, including stele of Maqiao ancient culture site, shuanmateng (ancient Wisteria), wuhui academy, statue of Dong Qichang, and men's farming and women's weaving, with inscriptions.
