China Accounting Museum

Located at 34 beierjing street, Songjiang District, Shanghai, China Accounting museum is a professional accounting Museum. On November 28, 2013, the opening ceremony of China Accounting museum was held, with a total construction area of 4500 square meters and exhibition area of 2800 square meters.

The purpose of China Accounting museum is to make use of the museum's powerful function of cultural heritage and publicity and education to carry out the salvage collection and protection of accounting historical and cultural relics, promote accounting historical culture, and promote accounting academic research and exchange.

Development history

In March 2009, Vice Minister Wang Jun of the Ministry of finance gave full affirmation to the preparation for the construction of China Accounting museum when he went to Shanghai Lixin Accounting College and Lixin Accounting firm to guide the work.

In July 2010, the inaugural meeting of the Council of China Accounting museum was held in Shanghai Lixin Institute of accounting.

On November 28, 2013, the opening ceremony of China Accounting museum was held.

Venue composition

The museum includes China exhibition hall, international exhibition hall, accounting Hall of fame, temporary exhibition hall, audio-visual room, exhibition equipment storage room, collection library and other exhibition and storage places, which will eventually be composed of physical museum, online museum and digital museum.

Function value

China Accounting museum will be built into a comprehensive exhibition hall to collect and protect accounting cultural relics, promote accounting culture, and serve accounting teaching and research. Compared with the existing China finance and taxation Museum, China audit Museum and China abacus Museum, the accounting Museum focuses on the special display of accounting culture. Its content focuses on the basic accounting methods, system, theory, practice and related achievements.

Contents of exhibition hall

China Accounting Museum focuses on the comprehensive display of accounting culture, focusing on the display of basic accounting methods, systems, theories, accounting practices and related achievements.

"Person" refers to the display of accounting historical figures. The China Accounting Hall of fame will be set up in the China Accounting Museum. Through the selection and commendation of historical figures who have made outstanding contributions to the development of modern China's accounting, they will carry forward their historical achievements, prosper and develop accounting culture, and introduce the life stories and important achievements of international famous accountants.

"Thing" refers to the collection, arrangement, preservation, research and display of accounting historical relics, which can rescue the collection and arrangement of accounting historical relics and documents, and show the truth of accounting history.

"History" refers to the research and display of accounting history. On the one hand, it displays the long history and culture of accounting through museums; on the other hand, it carries out and promotes the research of accounting history by using the collection materials, which plays an important role in the international exchange of accounting history research.

"China Accounting Hall of fame" will become an important part of the accounting Museum. The "Chinese accounting celebrities" selection committee selects Chinese accounting experts who have made outstanding contributions in the fields of accounting theory research, accounting practice, accounting education and public service since 1900. It sets up a personal exhibition hall for them in the accounting museum to introduce their life stories, achievements and contributions in multi-dimensional and all-round way in the form of pictures, texts, videos, images and objects.

Main activities

On November 2, 2016, Steven dellaportas, Professor of accounting at the Royal Polytechnic University of Melbourne, Australia, visited the Museum of accounting and held a special lecture.

On the morning of September 23, 2016, Li family, the daughter of Chinese accountant Professor Li Baozhen, together with her husband Mr. Liu, visited the China Accounting Museum.

On November 20, 2015, a series of activities were successfully held to commemorate the second anniversary of the opening of China Accounting Museum.

On April 15, 2015, President Xue Fujing, Professor Shi Yichen and Commissioner Dong Shoushan of Taipei National University visited the China Accounting Museum.

On May 23, 2014, accompanied by Zhu Weihua, director of the financial department of Shanghai Lixin Accounting College, a group of 78 people from Nanjing University Accounting Society visited the China Accounting Museum.

Organization setup

Office: responsible for the daily administrative affairs, foreign affairs organization and coordination of the museum.

Technology Department: responsible for the technical problems of the preservation of cultural relics in the museum, the maintenance of the museum website, and the maintenance and management of related equipment.

Safekeeping Department: responsible for the collection receiving, receiving, returning and safekeeping of the museum.

Development Department: responsible for the development of the museum, including development planning, collection and procurement, exhibition and related activities, media liaison and promotion.

Service Department: responsible for the open reception and consulting services of the exhibition hall, as well as logistics support.

Restoration Department: responsible for the protection and restoration of cultural relics.

Document Department: responsible for the collection, arrangement and management of accounting historical documents.

Accounting culture and accounting history research center: responsible for academic planning, application and management of academic topics, academic research and exchange activities.

Leading members

The executive director of the Council of China Accounting museum is composed of 37 senior professors and experts including Ge Jiashu and Guo daoyang. The Council elected Tang Haiyan, President of Shanghai Lixin Accounting College, Shao Ruiqing, vice president of Shanghai Lixin Accounting College, and Zhu Jiandi, chairman of Lixin Accounting firm.

To the north of the museum is four sections of Wenhui Road. It is the departure or stop station of songshen B line, Songjiang 12, 17, 18 and other bus routes. It is only ten minutes' drive from Songjiang University City Station of Metro Line 9, so the traffic is very convenient.
