Renke Art Center

Renke art gallery is an independent contemporary art organization. Located in the core area of Hangzhou, at the intersection of 172 Qingchun Road (Financial Street) and 1 Zhongshan North Road (Yu Street), 5 minutes' walk from the West Lake. The total construction area of the art center is 860 m2, which is divided into two independent exhibition halls (space 1 and space 2) and an independent corridor space.

Renke Art Center was founded in March 2009. Since its establishment, it has been committed to the construction of the gallery brand. It has established a professional gallery team: curation, mounting, exhibition arrangement and file management, aiming to provide professional hardware and software support platform for first-class contemporary artists and curators.

People can choose art. Artists have their own values and independent judgment on art. No conformity, no speculation, managing the long-term art market and artists with academic positioning are the consistent principles of human art. Adhering to the principles of inclusiveness, openness and exploration, Renke art shows the artists who have already appeared and are about to appear in the future with high-quality contemporary art exhibition and professional operation mode, aiming at making a modest contribution to the development of Chinese contemporary art.

Starting from the art itself, Chinese contemporary art, which is born from the local and has international vision, and can win the recognition and respect of international academic peers, is the dream of art.

Renke art actively explores, cultivates and promotes contemporary artists with academic orientation, and regularly holds academic seminars

To invite critics, curators and artists to carry out academic discussions, organize and assemble into volumes, independently design and publish artist's combed picture albums and related literature texts.
