history
Zhengqin palace is located in Damucang Hutong, Xicheng District. In Yongle of Ming Dynasty, Yao Shaoshi was granted the title of Guangxiao. The Qing division entered the pass and established itself in Yanjing. On this basis, Shizu gave his uncle Prince ji'erharang. It is the official residence of ji'erhalang, the founder of the Qing Dynasty. After the completion of the palace, the successive kings have been renovated and expanded. The biggest one is the eighth expansion of Wang Depei's west garden, which was named "Huiyuan".
The former layout of the palace was divided into three parts from east to west, with the front body protruding in the East, which was the main palace of the palace; the central and western parts of the palace retreated with the trend of the street, and the central part was another courtyard and the western garden. The most famous garden is Huiyuan, which is the best one in the garden of Wangdi.
Duan Hua, the 13th generation master of the royal family, was killed by Wang Jue after the failure of the "Xinyou coup". The palace was granted to Yiyi, the eighth son of Emperor Daoguang, and was renamed Zhongjun palace. In the 10th year of Tongzhi reign, it was returned to Qingzhi, who had been restored to the rank of nobility. After the Republic of China, Zhao Xu, the 17th Prince of Zheng, first mortgaged the palace to Xishiku Catholic Church, and then rented it to China University as the site in 1925.
The existing buildings are only left in the East, with three street doors, five main doors and five steps in front of them. The main hall is five rooms in front of them, and the steps are five rooms in front of them. There are five floors in the East and three buildings in the West. Finally, there are five main bedrooms. It was renamed yixiantang when it was used in Chinese universities, but it is still used today. The original back cover building and some ancillary buildings have been demolished. Now another Erlong road middle school is built in the west garden. Zheng Wangfu is now the site of the Ministry of education of the people's Republic of China and the seat of China Education Foundation. It is a key cultural relic to be protected in Beijing.
