Muya pagoda, also known as Muya Zunsheng pagoda, is a pagoda built by living Buddha dojizhaxi to commemorate the 10th Panchen Lama's decapitation and Dharma distribution. The pagoda is located in the center surrounded by eight sacred mountains, including Yala holy mountain, XiaGu Dongqing mountain, Wenshu mountain and Guanyin Mountain. It is called "gurutang" in Tibetan, which means "Lianshi Daochang".
Muya pagoda is a Buddhist temple building of Mandala style. The top of the pagoda is covered with gold paper. It is divided into three layers: the first layer is Xianzong hall, where eight Bodhisattvas, such as Sakyamuni Buddha, Guanyin Bodhisattva, Manjusri Bodhisattva, and eighteen Arhats are worshipped; the second layer is Mizong hall, where master lianhuasheng and master Tantra are worshipped. The exquisite Thangka on the four walls of the hall is painted with the biography of Sakyamuni Buddha and lianhuasheng The third floor is the Buddha's body worship tower, which contains the Tripitaka, five kinds of relic and hidden collection. The third floor represents the Buddha Dharma, the three treasures of monks and the three great, small and dense sutras. There are gold deer, acorn, golden winged bird, baochuang and other gold ornaments on the outer eaves of the pagoda.
There is a 383 meter long turning corridor outside the pagoda, which is equipped with 470 turning cones. Inside the pagoda, there are 2.2 billion times of "vajraya Sutra hundred words mantra" to eliminate the obstacles. There are four Pavilion style pagodas around the pagoda, each containing 100000 small pagodas. Around the pagoda, there are eight kinds of achievement pagodas, 158 of which contain abundant and complete collections such as Dazangjing. Its income is one of the main sources of school running funds of Xikang welfare school.

Muya pagoda is located in Tagong Township, Xinduqiao Town, Kangding County, Sichuan Province. It was built in 1997 with the donation of living Buddha dojizaxi of Zhuqing temple, one of the six Buddhist temples of Ningma sect (red religion). During the construction, it shared more than 100 kilograms of gold (or 80 kilograms of gold). It is said that when the temple opened, there were five colored auspicious clouds and seven colored halos in the sky.
