Return to the world
In 1640 A.D., Gushi Khan, the leader of Heshuote tribe of Mongolian nationality in Qinghai Province, led his troops to Kang and destroyed the Mu's chieftain. The temples such as Batang Zata temple were destroyed in the war and became ruins. Later, Zata temple was allowed to move from Dongshan to GuanZhai on kalumbo. In 1648, it was converted to gelupai temple, named dingning temple.
In 1703, an old woman in Batang went to dig red mud near the old site of the White Pagoda of zatasi temple. Suddenly, the cry of "ah Yo" and the pleading of "dig left, dig right" came out of the soil. The old woman was so surprised that she ran back to the city to tell people about it. When the abbot of dingning temple and the local chieftain learned about it, they sent people to dig it. As a result, a sandalwood carved Buddha statue of Sakyamuni was unearthed. Temples and places are competing to worship this Buddha, not to give in to each other. Later, an agreement was reached: a tent was set up in a place called bairizong behind jiarilong village on the edge of the city, and the Buddha statue of Sakyamuni was worshipped in the tent. The two sides sent people to supervise and forbid anyone to enter. It is also agreed that if the Buddha faces the temple the next morning, it will be worshipped by the temple; if it faces the city, it will be worshipped by the local people. The next morning, we found that not only Batang people but also Lhasa people revered this Buddha statue. When Batang people went to Lhasa to worship Buddha, Lhasa people said, "why do you come all the way to Lhasa? You have" juevosongzama "there, and it's the same to worship him.". We can see its status in the eyes of believers.
