The Palace Museum of emperor Chen Wu is located in xiaruosi Township, Changxing County. It was the former residence of Chen Baxian. Chen Baxian was the founding emperor of the Chen Dynasty and was known as emperor Chen Wu in history. According to the records, "because of the flourishing fragrance of the imperial palace of Chen, Tianju temple was established in the first year of Chen Guangda (567) in the Southern Dynasty; guanghuijiao temple was changed in the second year of song Zhiping (1065); and xiaruo temple was established in the 24th year of Hongwu (1391) in the Ming Dynasty. There is an ancient well in the Palace Museum of emperor Chen Wu. According to historical records, when Chen Baxian was born, the well was boiling and his family took a bath. Later generations called the well "Holy Well", also known as "Chen well". On the plaque of the Palace Museum of emperor Chen Wu, "the Palace Museum of emperor Chen Wu" is written by Chen Lifu, a former KMT official in Taiwan. There is a statue of Chen Baxian in the middle of the palace. On the west side is a mural of Chen Baxian's life experience. On the back of the statue is written "the personal life of Chen Baxian, the first emperor of Chen Dynasty." Chen Wudi Palace Museum
The Palace Museum of emperor Chen Wu is located in xiaruosi Township, Changxing County, Zhejiang Province. It is the birthplace and former residence of Chen Gaozu, the founder of the southern and Northern Dynasties, Chen Baxian (557-559). The Palace Museum of emperor Chen Wu is composed of three parts: the ruins park of the Palace Museum of emperor Chen Wu, Tianju temple and the exhibition hall of the Palace Museum of emperor Chen Wu. It covers an area of about 126 mu, with a construction area of 10361 square meters and a total investment of about 180 million yuan. Tianju temple in the Forbidden City, Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou and Jinshan Temple in Zhenjiang are known as the "three great temples in the south of the Yangtze River".
Historical origin and composition

In the first year of Chen Guangda in the Southern Dynasty (567), it was established as Tianju temple; it became one of the three major temples along the meridian of the south of the Yangtze River (Dinghui temple in Zhenjiang, Tianju temple in Changxing, Lingyin Temple in Hangzhou); in the second year of song Zhiping (1065), it was changed into Guanghui temple; in the 24th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1391), it was established as a jungle, commonly known as xiaruo temple.
Xiaruo Temple used to be a five entrance courtyard, covering an area of 36 mu, surrounded by water on all sides, with great momentum. In the middle of the temple, from the mountain gate, there are Tianwang hall, Daxiong hall, Guanyin hall and Xiaoxitian. The Buddha, Guanyin and western three Buddhas worshipped in the temple are all saints among Buddhas. The statues of Buddhas are majestic and majestic, and the incense has flourished throughout the dynasties. Therefore, the emperors of the past dynasties all called them "the kingdom of Buddha in the hometown of the emperor" and received the "divine edict" from the three emperors.
In xiaruo temple, there are many inscriptions of literati and poets. Bai Juyi, Du Mu, Zhu Xi, Su Dongpo, Wu Chengen and GUI Youguang all stop at xiaruo temple. Daoxuan, a famous monk in Tang Dynasty, was born in xiaruo temple. The famous wine "Ruo Xiachun" is produced here.
Reconstruction of former residence
On August 15, 1994, Changxing County Government approved the reconstruction of the Palace Museum of Chen Baxian in xiaruo temple. New former residence
In 2010, Changxing County Government started the reconstruction project of Chen Wudi's Palace Museum. The whole scenic area covers an area of 126 mu, which is composed of three parts: Chen Wudi's former residence, Tianju temple and ruins park, with a total investment of about 180 million yuan. It is a comprehensive experiential cultural tourist attraction integrating leisure shopping, tea entertainment, study and cultivation, blessing and sightseeing. It is also the only tourist attraction in the main urban area of Changxing. The Palace Museum of emperor Chen Wu is a scenic spot with the architectural style of the Southern Dynasties, which enables more people to understand the history and culture of the Chen Dynasty that took place in the south of the Yangtze River more than 1400 years ago.
Main components of the former residence
The newly built Palace Museum of emperor Chen Wu is composed of three parts: the ruins park of the Palace Museum of emperor Chen Wu, Tianju temple and the exhibition hall of the Palace Museum of emperor Chen Wu.
Tianju temple is composed of Mountain Gate, chenhuangta, Dabei hall, etc.

Da Bei Dian
According to the old system of TIANTAIZONG, Dabei hall is the main hall of Tianju temple. It has three floors except the partition. The first floor is nianfo hall, the second floor is Qianshou Guanyin hall, and the third floor is Huayan Sansheng hall. Taking Dabei hall as the center, the five story lotus flower pagoda (Duobao pagoda) is located in the south of the central axis, and the mountain gate is further extended. There are wing towers on the East and west sides of Dabei hall, Drum Tower in the West and bell tower in the East. There are long corridors around it to connect with the pagoda hall. There is a lecture hall on the north side of the great mercy hall, which is the living area of monks.
Chen Huangta
Chenhuang pagoda, also known as Duobao pagoda, is located in the south of Dabei hall and the north of the mountain gate. It is a five story lotus Huasheng pagoda. At the entrance of the pagoda, there is a plaque of "Buddha kingdom of the emperor's hometown" written by Zhao Mengfu. Mahogany tower towering, eaves angle oblique fly, hanging copper bell. The stone steps paved with marble extend all the way up, making the whole tower magnificent. On both sides of the stone steps, there are two Scripture buildings carved with Buddha statues and scriptures. On the left, it is engraved with "all the secrets of the Tathagata heart, and the whole body relic treasure chest is printed with the dharoni"; on the right, it is engraved with "clear away all the evil ways, and the Buddha's top honors the dharoni".
Holy Well
There is an ancient well in the Palace Museum of emperor Chen Wu. According to historical records, when Chen Baxian was born, the well was boiling and his family took a bath. Later generations called the well "Holy Well", also known as "Chen well". Shengjing is a stone well with a depth of about 15 meters and a diameter of 1.5 meters. The water surface is flat on the ground, and the well water is clear and inexhaustible all the year round. In 1993, a new Shengjing pavilion was built and a Shengjing stele was erected to protect the Shengjing. In 2011, it was listed as "Zhejiang provincial cultural relics protection unit".
Exhibition hall of Chen Wudi's former residence
The former residence exhibition hall is composed of qianqiumen, Taiji hall, Xuanfu hall, mannating, left and right wing rooms, etc.
Taiji hall is the main hall, in which the statue of emperor Chen Wu is worshipped. On both sides are the table of emperor Chen and the territory of Chen Dynasty.
Dongxiangfang is the exhibition area of "Chen family in the world". It mainly introduces the origin and development of Chen family, and famous figures of Chen family.
Xixianfang is the exhibition area of "the vicissitudes of the Chen Dynasty", which mainly introduces the related events from the establishment of the Chen Dynasty to the end of the Chen Dynasty.
Xuanfu hall is located in the north of Taiji hall and Ganlu Pavilion. It mainly introduces the historical events of Chen Dynasty's Buddhist ceremony, such as the reception of Buddhist relics, Zhiyi's lectures, and the establishment and development of Tianju temple
