Temple History
In 1958, there was a sutra hall with 270 monks, 93 permanent monks and 10 Living Buddhas. It was closed after 1958. It was approved to open in 1980. After more than ten years of restoration and development, it has become one of the most influential Ningma monasteries in Guoluo Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture. On the right side of the temple is a huge celestial burial ground. The mountain is full of swaying cloth, solemn and solemn. At present, the main temple buildings are Sutra hall, golden hall, new Buddha Hall and a Buddha pagoda. In the Sutra hall, the statues of Luo Li and the precious utensils are presented, which are sacred. There are many Chinese objects in the temple, among which the bronze statue of wuliangshou Buddha in the 10th century is the most valuable. Among the thousands of relics offered, some were invited from India, and some were obtained from the monk Xiuli of our temple. There are tens of thousands of Buddhist scriptures in the temple, such as ganzhur, danzhur, etc., especially in various versions of the Da Yuanman Sutra.
The temple was approved to open in 1980. There are 175 monks, 23 Living Buddhas, one Sutra hall, 30 rooms, 130 other houses, 100 cattle, covering an area of about 100 mu.
Temple owners
Dan benima, 67, is the current leader of chalang temple. He was born in dari County, Qinghai Province. He became a monk in 1949 and studied under Lama Lang. He served as vice chairman of dari County CPPCC, chairman of Guoluo Buddhist Association, and vice chairman of Qinghai Buddhist Association.
Respected and entrusted by the leader of Da Yuanman, kanbumingse Rinpoche, old kanbumingmarozhu became one of the authorities of Da Yuanman Dharma. He was the host of chalang temple in dari County, Golog Prefecture, Qinghai Province. He was different, compassionate and wise from childhood. When he was nine years old, he became a monk by virtue of the incarnation of longqinba, Lang Lama akidoje Rinpoche, and received the commandment of Samadhi Poche and mani Lama, who incarnated as Guanyin Bodhisattva, are also his gurus. There are also many gurus of Dharma preaching and guanding of various sects.
In his early years, Rinpoche's practice in chalang temple was very hard, and he was very short of food. However, Rinpoche was not afraid of hard work. He had nothing to eat for seven days and still insisted on pure practice.
When Rinpoche was 21 years old, he received bhikkhu precepts. When he was 22 years old, he got Da Yuanman's resolute Dharma at the place of guru Lang Lama qiujiduojie. When he was 24 years old, he got Da Yuanman's resolute Dharma, dunchao Dharma and all Mi multiplication Dharma. When he was 27 years old, he got Da Yuanman's resolute Dharma, dunchao Dharma and all Mi multiplication Dharma. Guru Lang Lama qiujiduojie and guru of gatuo Temple praise his achievements and merits. Master Lang Lama Chiu Ji duojie personally wrote: "all my mental Dharma will be inherited and carried forward by him. He will carry forward my Dharma pulse like the sun illuminating the world."
During the cultural revolution, despite the harsh environment, Rinpoche still strictly abided by the bhikkhi precepts and did not violate them at any time. He was very clean and full of gardens, so he could be called the king of keeping the precepts.
After the cultural revolution, the monastery was restored and Rinpoche became the abbot. There are more than 20 sub temples in chalang temple, with more than 300 monks. The daily affairs of the temple are very various, but Rinpoche still insists on preaching and decapitating for the monks himself. At the same time, it also took care of the restoration and construction of the temple. Under his leadership, chalang temple has become a very unique and pure place to carry forward Buddhism.
In addition to presiding over the chalang monastery, Rinpoche also served as the first Dean of Gato monastery Buddhist College after the restoration of the cultural revolution. He also served as the Vajra guru of Sangye, gangritoga and other temples for a long time. In addition, he often presided over the blissful Dharma Association in all parts of the Tibetan area, mercifully accepted all living beings and sowed the seeds of Buddhism.
In 1998, Rinpoche showed signs that he was going to pass away. King Jinmei pengcuo urged him to live in the world. In response to the public's advice, Rinpoche continued to carry forward Buddhism all over the place. All living beings he took were all over Tibet. Rinpoche was invited to preach Dharma many times by the advanced Buddhist College of Tibetan language department in Beijing, but he didn't go because of his immature fate. Since 2005, with the development of the Han Dynasty, the guru has been working hard to promote Buddhism.
Rinpoche has many Tibetan and Han disciples, up to tens of thousands of people, they are all under the guidance of Rinpoche, they are pure, keep precepts, and practice. Among them, there are many disciples who are as good as the moon in the stars and have outstanding moral character and cultivation achievements. Some are the King Kong guru on the throne; some are the Kanbu holding the three treasures; some are the Zhugu under the treasure house; some are the prince Fu Cang guru of lianhuasheng. In addition, there are recluses who live alone in the mountains and practice in seclusion all their lives. There are nearly 100 disciples in Sangye and gangritoga who practice in seclusion all their lives.
For example, many saints do not like to publicize their merits and virtues, so does Rinpoche. But only the Buddha can know Rinpoche's merits and virtues. Here, I just want to take a few drops from Rinpoche's daily virtues to mature the belief of all living beings.
Tudengxiezhu danbeinima living Buddha was born in 1930, the 16th TieMa year of Raochang in the Tibetan calendar. His father's name is gezejinduo, and his mother's name is peishajuemu. The two old men are simple, honest, kind and kind. When he was born, the villagers saw many auspicious signs, such as the blooming flowers in the living Buddha's home, the dense clouds in the sky and so on. On the 10th day of July, the 16th year of huoniu in Rao Yao, the Tibetan calendar, there are many people. Zhiqin Rinpoche thinks that he is more. The Dharma cloth of Zhiqin temple is the reincarnation of qiuweise, and is given high-class vestments. A highly respected national teacher identified him as the reincarnation of Cang Rinpoche in the great gexi ala mountains of Lhasa, and gave him many treasures such as Buddha statues, Buddhist scriptures and pagodas. He was invited to Lhasa, but his uncle politely refused. Master Bala identified him as the reincarnated living Buddha of senior monk Wu jianqie. Later, the Ling lamas Rinpoche qujidojie and Bala wujianlangzhuo agreed to recognize him as the reincarnated living Buddha of the great Khenpo dangqiu Weise on the eighth day of July in the 16th year of the tuhu in the Tibetan calendar, and held a bed sitting ceremony in the Zhaxi qudan forest Buddhist temple of the Tudeng xiejunobu in Chaling temple. Then he studied language and literature with bazuo Lama zalo. When he was 19 years old, he took baqiong uqin as his teacher and became a monk under the society of khenbugeshanle in gatu, and gave him the name of Tu Teng Xieju bamarozhu. From then on, he studied Xianmi classics more diligently. After that, he came to xiajiewagatu temple, the birthplace of qiangmingming, and entered Baotan Sutra Academy. He paid homage to several scholars, such as Da kenbujian, zanweise, and so on. He continued to listen to and study many masterpieces of the secret subjects. He has received the Buddhist canonization, inheritance and precepts from dozens of Buddhists, such as kartosido Rinpoche, kartogeze jumedan Balangjie, guru Quji dojie, kartumuju Rinpoche, etc. When he was 20 years old, he received the bhikkhu precepts in front of all the monks, such as jumedan Balangjie in gatuogeze. In this year, he became the general of gatuosi monastery. Soon, he went back to his temple and founded the auspicious mantra general monastery.
During the 24 years from 29 to 52, due to the irresistible fate, he suffered from misfortune, and the glory of happiness was temporarily engulfed by darkness like the sun and the moon. Finally, at the age of 52, the 16th year of the Iron Monkey (1982), the glorious moment of Bodhisattva comes. In the restoration activities of Chaling temple, danbainima living Buddha is the main person in charge of the temple. The Sutra Hall of the temple as well as the Buddha statues, sutras, pagodas and all sacrificial articles in the temple have been renovated with high quality.
