Zhongchi

Zhongchi is located in the center of Zhuge village, in front of the grand hall, with an area of 0.24 hectares. On the side of it is a piece of land with an anti symmetrical area. Zhongchi in Zhuge Bagua village is used for sun drying. In the book of changes, it is said that "the southeast is Yang and the northwest is Yin". In addition, it is said that "the sky is round and the place is round". There is a well in the north of the open space and a well in the south of Zhongchi, which is exactly the fish eye in Taiji. The clock pool and the open space are surrounded by houses, forming a closed space. There are eight alleys around the clock pool with different characteristics.

Zhongchi

Zhong chi (1915-1978), the founding major general, was born in Changting County, Fujian Province. He joined the Red Army of workers and peasants in 1929, the Communist Youth League of China in the same year, and the Communist Party of China in 1935. The highest position is deputy director of the Political Department of Chengdu Military Region.

In 1929, he joined the Red Army, took part in five anti "encirclement and suppression" operations in the Central Soviet Area and the 25000 Li Long March. After arriving in Northern Shaanxi, he took part in Zhiluo Town, Wuqi Town, eastern expedition and other campaigns. During the war of liberation, he served as deputy director of the Political Department of the 13th independent brigade of jizare Liao military region and director of the Political Department of the 22nd division of the eighth column of the Northeast Democratic Alliance Army. He participated in the battles of Liaoshen, Pingjin, Hengbao and Guangxi. In 1953, he joined the war to resist U.S. aggression and aid Korea and served as director of the cadre Department of the 54th army. After returning to China, he served as political commissar and deputy political commissar of the 130th division of the 54th army. He led his troops to take part in the battle to pacify the Tibetan rebellion and the counterattack on the Sino Indian border.

Life experience

During the Agrarian Revolutionary War, he served as the commander of the 12th Red Army. In 1931, he entered the Red Army School of the Central Soviet Area and later served as the instructor of the communication company of the Political Department of the first front Red Army. He took part in five counter "encirclement and suppression" operations and the 25000 Li Long March in the Central Soviet area. After arriving in Northern Shaanxi, he took part in Zhiluo Town, Wuqi Town, eastern expedition and other campaigns. In 1936, he entered the first phase of the Chinese people's Anti Japanese Red Army University. In the same year, he served as the Deputy Commissioner of the Red Army University. The next year, he joined the second phase of the Chinese people's Anti Japanese military and Political University.

During the Anti Japanese War, he served as deputy chief of the organization unit of the Political Department of 770 regiment, 385 brigade, 129 division of the Eighth Route Army, member and Secretary of the Political Department of the rear left behind regiment of the Eighth Route Army, chief judge of the military law department of the Shaanxi Gansu Ningxia border region Police Brigade, and deputy chief of the military law department of the third Police Brigade.

During the war of liberation, he successively served as the director of the military law division of Jicha Reliao military region, the director of the military law division of Rehe military region, the deputy director of the Political Department of the 13th independent brigade of Jicha Reliao military region, and the director of the Political Department of the 22nd Division of the eighth column of the Northeast Democratic Alliance Army. He participated in the battles of Liaoshen, Pingjin, Hengbao and Guangxi.

After the founding of the people's Republic of China, he served as deputy political commissar and director of the Political Department of the 133rd division of the 45th army of the Central South military region of the Chinese people's Liberation Army, Vice Minister of the military cadre management department, and Minister of the military cadre department. In 1953, he took part in the war of resisting US aggression and aiding Korea and served as director of the cadre Department of the 54th army of the Chinese people's Volunteer Army. After returning to China, he entered the accelerated Department of the Political College of the people's Liberation Army to study. After graduation, he served as political commissar and deputy political commissar of the 130th division of the 54th army, and deputy director of the Political Department of the Chengdu Military Region. He led his department to participate in the battle to pacify the Tibetan rebellion and the Sino Indian border counterattack.

He died of illness on March 18, 1978 at the age of 63.

Achievements and honors

He was awarded the rank of senior colonel in 1955 and promoted to major general in 1964. He was awarded the three-level 81 medal, the two-level independent freedom medal and the two-level Liberation Medal.
