After the mid Ming Dynasty, Fengshui was very popular in Lingnan architecture. Therefore, every geothermal station is dedicated to building Fengshui tower. In Fengshui's family, Shizhong Gaoping built a pagoda on Pazhou, the Pearl River in the east of Guangzhou. This is Pazhou pagoda. 12 years after the completion of Pazhou tower, another lotus tower was built on the Lotus Mountain in Panyu, which is close to the lion ocean. 19 years after the completion of Pazhou tower, another Chigang tower was built in the west of Pazhou.
During the Wanli reign of Shenzong in the Ming Dynasty, a towering tower was built on a small hill in Pazhou.
