Wangxiantai
Wangxiantai is a Taoist building in Daming Palace of Tang Dynasty. According to relevant documents, Emperor Wuzong of Tang Dynasty was obsessed with the art of Taoist immortals. During the reign of Huichang, he dispatched more than 3000 Shence troops to build wangxiantai.
Archaeological excavation shows that the wangxiantai site is a square covered bucket, which is composed of rammed earth platform, the base of the platform and the trench around the base. The rammed earth platform is square in plane and is rammed by loess. It is about 30 meters from east to west and 28-29 meters from north to south. The existing height is 9.7 meters.
