Development history

The origin of the name

Taoshan park is named for its mountain peaks. There is a beautiful folk legend about the origin of Taoshan. It is said that tens of thousands of years ago, the queen mother held a peach banquet to invite all kinds of immortals to pick peaches in the peach garden. One of the maids accidentally dropped a peach, which fell from the heavenly palace and became today's peach mountain. Today's peach mountain is really like a peach.

Renovation and reconstruction

The government has increased investment, investing more than 7 million yuan to build two new squares, with a total area of 12500 square meters. The newly built east square in 2001 is connected with Xuefu Road. It has a unique shape. From the foot of the mountain to the hillside, there are more than 100 steps. Every other section of the square is decorated with flowers and plants. There are also gorgeous street lights. Every night, the lights are shining. Looking from the end of Xuefu Road to the square, the street lights are like strings of bright pearls All the way to the top of the mountain.

From the bottom of the mountain to the top, there are three winding paths and two artificial steps. When you are tired, you can take a rest in the arbor on the hillside. You can enjoy the beautiful scenery while you rest. When you climb the top of the mountain, you can have a panoramic view of Xinxing Coal City. At the foot of the mountain, there are many tall buildings, streets, cars and pedestrians.
