Five holes
The five holes in Lanyu scenic spot are composed of agglomerates or tuffaceous agglomerates. The traces of rising coast can be seen clearly on the rock wall, while Coral fossils can be seen clearly on the rock.
Five holes and five holes are formed next to each other. The local people give each hole a different name. This used to be a taboo place for the Yami people. The first hole means snake's nest, the second hole is a resting place, and the third hole is "sumo cave". It is said that if there is a conflict between the two villagers, they usually start wrestling here to win or lose. The fifth hole is called the place of pestle millet. It is said that the old people in the nearby villages often beat millet in this hole. In addition, it is also called the "nest of evil spirits". In the early days, it was regarded as a forbidden place where women, girls and children should not stay for a long time.
