Changshou ancient town tourism scenic spot in Chongqing is located in Taoxi Road, Changshou District, Chongqing, which is 78 km away from the main city of Chongqing and only 5 minutes' drive away from Changshou city. Since its opening on April 28, 2012, Changshou Puti ancient town has received more than ten million tourists, and has successfully held numerous large and medium-sized activities, such as "temple fair Festival", "Bayu Culture Festival", "beer hot pot Festival", "longevity feast", "pomelo Festival".

At present, the tourism activities of Changshou Bodhi ancient town have formed a cultural ancient town based on Bayu culture and Fushou culture, which is divided into four major theme festival activities quarterly. The ancient town has a big festival every season, a small section every month, activities every week and attractions every day, which attracts tourists at home and abroad.

In May 2014, Changshou ancient town scenic spot in Chongqing was officially approved as a national AAAA scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration. Together with the Bodhi mountain scenic spot under construction, we will create a national 5A scenic spot.

Changshou District, located in the periphery of Chongqing core metropolitan area, belongs to one hour economic zone. It is about 3km away from the Yangtze River, adjacent to Yuyi Expressway in the south, Yuwu (mountain) road, Yuli railway and Yuwan intercity railway in the north, Taohua new city in Changshou District in the East, old city in the south, and Bodhi mountain tourist area in the West and North, covering an area of 2000 mu. It is an important part of Bodhi mountain · China longevity culture city.

Planning construction

The core area of the ancient town covers an area of 800 mu, and the other 1200 Mu is pure commercial and residential area, with a total construction area of 1.3 million square meters and a total investment of 4.3 billion yuan. The project started in August 2010, and the core area of the ancient town is expected to be completed in December 2013. The project is built according to the national AAAAA level scenic spot standard, and is the core component of the Bodhi mountain scenic spot. It will rely on each other with the Bodhi mountain scenic spot to build a national AAAAA level scenic spot.

Traffic information

Starting from the North Station of the railway station, you can take bus No. 103 directly after arriving at Changshou station. Changshou railway station has only bus No. 103, and the bus terminal is Guzhen. Or take a bus to Changshou, take a bus to Changshou at Chaotianmen or hongqihegou, get off at Changshou bus terminal, and then take bus No.103 outside the station. It's not far from the ancient town.
