The library is located at 91 Xiaowen street, Ningbo City. Feng mengzhuan was a hermit named Futao. Futao means that he lived in the countryside and devoted himself to learning. Mr. Feng mengzhuan was eager to learn when he was young. He carefully collected the ancient books scattered among the people since the Ming and Qing Dynasties, and carefully repaired and preserved them. After 60 years of accumulation, Mr. Feng collated nearly 110000 ancient books and 533 inscriptions, and compiled Yinfan Tianyi Pavilion bibliography. Most of his books are rare books, such as the Song Dynasty edition of the famous minister stele biography of Wan Yan collection, the Yuan Dynasty edition of the spring and autumn poetry, the Yuefu Poetry Collection, and the Ming Dynasty edition of Liu Suizhou poetry collection. In April 1962, Mr. Feng mengzhuan died of illness. In his will, he asked his family to donate all the books and the library to the state.

Located at No. 91 Xiaowen street, Ningbo City, the library of Mr. Feng mengzhuan, a famous modern book collector and bibliographer in eastern Zhejiang. "Fu tarsi" comes from the sentence "cunning rabbit lies on the tarsi side" in Wang Yanshou's Ode to Luling Guangdian in Wenxuan, which means "Fu is not resisting in the countryside, but devoted to learning". Sitting in the west to the East, it is a wooden structure building with five two lanes and three compartments. In the building, there is an exhibition of Mr. Feng mengzhuan's life story. With a large number of pictures and material objects, it shows Mr. Feng mengzhuan's life resume, achievements in writing, achievements in book collection and related deeds of dedicating books to the country, and gives a vivid and detailed introduction to Mr. Feng mengzhuan's life.

Introduction to master Feng mengzhuan
(1886-1962), named Zhenqun, named mengzhuan, named manru, named futaojushi, chenghuazi, miaoyouzi, and signed a lonely old man in his later years. Originally from Cixi, Zhejiang Province, he moved from his ancestors to Shuifu bridge in Ningbo City. At the age of 17, he was a student member of Ningbo Government. In 1932, he served as the chairman of Yinxian literature Committee, engaged in commendation of sages and protection of cultural relics.
Collect books
Since he was a child, he was eager to learn and determined to study. Later, he inherited 2000 copies of his father's "qiuhengzhai" posthumous letter, which is "abandoning appetite, saving on food and clothing, and searching for ancient books". Taking advantage of the warlords' scuffle, abandoning science, and revitalizing schools at that time, he meticulously collected the scattered books of various private and sophisticated bookstores in Ningbo since the Ming and Qing Dynasties Insect injury is "repair". After 60 years of accumulation, he has sorted out nearly 110000 volumes of ancient books, 533 kinds of inscriptions, compiled "Yinfan Tianyi Pavilion bibliography" and so on, rebuilt Mr. Huang Lizhou's lecture office in Baiyun Village, and participated in "Siming series". In 1947, he was appointed as the editor of Yinxian Tongzhi and edited the characters, art and literature of Wenshu Zhi. After liberation, he was a librarian of Zhejiang provincial culture and History Research Institute, a specially invited representative of Ningbo People's Congress, a member of the Municipal Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference, and a member of the municipal cultural relics management committee, and actively participated in the socialist cultural construction. Among the books collected by Mr. Wang, most of them are rare ones, such as the song edition of the collection of Wan Yan, the Ming Dynasty edition of the collection of poems by Liu Suizhou. Especially rare are celebrity manuscripts, such as Quan Xieshan's Jieqi Pavilion collection, Yao Meibo's Yao Fuzhuang poetry manuscript, Shi Rong's Li Changji poetry annotation, and Zhang Linshu's Li, Du, Han, Bai Sijia Qigu, etc.

In April 1962, Feng Zhenqun died of illness. On his deathbed, he asked his family members to donate all the library property to the state free of charge. There are 3367 kinds of books, 3734 books, 31045 volumes and 109746 volumes, including 426 rare books. There are 533 kinds of steles. At that time, the Ningbo Municipal People's Committee, in recognition of Feng mengzhuan's achievements in protecting historical relics and local documents, issued prizes and certificates to his family members, and set up a special "exhibition room" in his former residence, which was open to the public on a regular basis. After that, Feng's family continued to carry forward the spirit of cherishing the excellent cultural heritage of the motherland and protecting local literature, and donated all the prizes to the tarsal room as the cost of protecting ancient books. It was closed during the cultural revolution and kept by Tianyi Pavilion.
Exhibition of historical sites
The new exhibition of historical relics consists of six parts, namely: scholar's 80 years of service to the country (life story), study of classics and casting of history collection of famous mountains (works achievements), the world's struggle to know my country's sages (old rain and new knowledge), the gathering of the happy land of Huan (collection of books for oneself), the generation by generation of Tianlu Shiqu (contribution of books to the country), and the new look of the century's Library (changes of the century). In addition, the newly added exhibition hall includes the Fengs family origin hall, fulianzhai (Study), wanyanxuan (tea room), qiuhengzhai (reading room), feifushan Hall (Xiaohua Hall), etc.
The past of modern times
It was first opened to the outside world in 1963. During the ten years of turmoil, all the books were once transferred to Hangzhou, and then transported back to Ningbo twice in 1974 and 1977, with a slight loss.
In March 1983, the books were moved to Tianyige, re catalogued and properly kept.
In November 1986, the municipal government decided to delimit the futaoshi from Tianyi Pavilion and set up the futaoshi cultural relics storage center, which is a key cultural relics protection unit in Haishu District.
In 1986, the municipal government allocated funds for the comprehensive renovation of the Fu tarsal room, and turned the three central halls into Mr. Feng mengzhuan's memorial rooms.
Since the new year's day of 1988, the library of the library has been reopened.
In 1996, on the occasion of the 110th anniversary of his birth, the management department adjusted and enriched the display. In 2005, it was announced as a key cultural relic protection unit in Zhejiang Province.
In 2005, it was announced as a cultural relic protection unit of Zhejiang Province by the people's Government of Zhejiang Province. Tianyige museum is in charge of the daily work of the library.
In August 2009, the display of the lounge was rebuilt. On December 12 of the same year, the renovation was completed and renamed "Mr. Feng mengzhuan Memorial Hall", which was reopened to the outside world.
