Zhouzai Island (zh ō uz ǎ I d ǎ o) is located in the south of Wanning City, Hainan Province, about 3 km from the land. The island covers an area of about 0.6 square kilometers. Among the five islands in Wanning City, its area is second only to that of Dazhou island. It is only 8 nautical miles away from Dazhou Island, so it is called Taizhou island.

Island is east-west, strip-shaped, two peaks facing each other, the middle shape of a saddle, from the Shenzhou Peninsula overlooking like two lying sea buffalo. The rocks on the island are rich in sulfur, so the corals in the sea are colorful.

The beach on Chau Tsai island is soft as powder, and the water is clear. There are many corals in the water. There are many round stones on the island. To the north of the island peak, you can see the scenery of Shenzhou Peninsula Bay. To the East, you can see the vast Pacific Ocean. To the southeast, a straight-line distance of 850 km is Huangyan Island in China.

Local fishermen used to call Zhouzi island snake island because some people raised a lot of snakes on the island. Later, because the island contained a lot of calculus (realgar), they stopped raising them. Gradually, no one called it Snake Island. Later, they raised sharks and built docks and stone steps on the island to reach the peak of the island. Because the coral around the island is too much and too shallow, it is not suitable for shark culture. So far, it is an uninhabited island, facing Jiajing Island across the sea.
