Lingxiaoyan is located in Luoyang peak forest, 66 kilometers northwest of Yangchun City, Yangjiang City, Guangdong Province, covering an area of 36.7 square kilometers. It is a scenic spot characterized by karst landform and natural landscape caves. It is one of the first batch of scenic spots promulgated by Guangdong Province.

On December 5, 2016, the National Tourism Administration announced that lingxiaoyan scenic spot was warned.

Introduction to scenic spots

Lingxiaoyan scenic spot is not only a provincial scenic spot in Guangdong Province, but also a provincial tourist resort in Guangdong Province (Chunwan Lingxiao tourist resort). The scenic spot is located in Helong town in the northwest of Yangchun City. Famous for its magnificence, it is known as "the first cave in South China". The cave is more than 120 meters high and has three floors, including Lingxiao hall, Lingxiao hall and viewing platform. It is now open to tourists with an area of more than 30000 square meters. The Lingxiao hall is large and spacious, with a clear stream at the bottom of the rock and flowing water passing through the rock. The scenery in the cave is vivid, lifelike and magnificent. It seems to enter the mythical world. After stepping on a hundred steps ladder, you can enter the Lingxiao hall. There are "Shouxing Yingbin" and "Ganoderma lucidum giant pillars", among which nine giant pillars are lifelike. Then you can go to the viewing platform to overlook the cave Scenery, such as "fairy yearning", "Eight Immortals crossing the sea" and "group of lions dancing" are even more impressive. In particular, the four natural wonders, such as "auspicious stars shining high", "a line of sky", "moon in the water" and "dripping pearls", are rare in the world. The Yandi River, more than 400 meters long, can be viewed by boat. The scenery such as "upside down Lotus" and "heavenly horse flying in the sky" make people linger and forget to return.

Lingxiaoyan scenic spot

Lingxiaoyan is divided into three caves: Zhengyan, Dongyan and Xiyan. Zhengyan is about 100 meters high, nearly 200 meters long and wide, with an area of more than 30000 square meters. It is divided into five layers. There are 19 stalactite pillars as tall as buildings in the cave, which support the top of the rock. They are majestic and magnificent. The natural sky, a star and the moon at the bottom of the water are three wonders.

Two kilometers away from lingxiaoyan, Yuxi three caves are formed by passing through three large karst caves in the upper reaches of Mojiang River, with a total length of 3 kilometers. Today, one or two caves are open. Inside the cave, there are clear springs and streams. The scenery is unique. There are many layers of forest in the cave. And lingxiaoyan and Yuxi three holes can be boating.

The road to Yangchun is far away from the world

Lingxiaoyan is known as the first scenic spot in South China. The rock is 100 meters high and is divided into three layers for sightseeing, covering an area of more than 30000 square meters. Among them, the Lingxiao hall on the bottom floor is 60 meters high, 34 meters wide and 105 meters long. There is a Yandi River, 320 meters long, which can be used for boating.

Geological structure

Lingxiaoyan has been regarded as the most representative karst cave in South China, which has incomparable advantages in geological extracurricular education. Professor Zhu Xuewen, a world expert on karst cave research, President of China Cave Research Association, academician of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Chen Weihai, director of Cave Research Center of Institute of karst geology, Chinese Academy of Geological Sciences, visited lingxiaoyan in August 2004 to investigate its geological significance. After comparing the height and width of lingxiaoyan cave entrance, the author made an evaluation and concluded that the spectacular degree of lingxiaoyan cave entrance is located in the cave that has been found in China The front row of acupoints is worthy of the title of "the first cave in the South". In lingxiaoyan cave, there are a variety of huge stone pillars and stalagmites in different shapes. Professor Zhu pointed out that the stone pillars and stalagmites in "Lingxiao hall" are typical palm shapes in karst landforms (commonly used in the world, but also named "shilingzhi" by domestic scholars). Lingxiao rock's "shilingzhi" has a complete type, a large shape, a large number and a long time of development. It is absolutely the first in China and is extremely rare in the world Yes, this place can be called "the world stone Ganoderma kingdom". At the same time, there are many typical shiduns in lingxiaoyan with various shapes and world-class level. On the rock wall of lingxiaoyan, the multi-layer sand and stone deposits and calcified plates record the development history of the mother river of Yangjiang City, the upper reaches of the Moyangjiang River, for hundreds of thousands and even millions of years.

Scenic spots

LingXiao Hall

"Lingxiao hall" has more than 3500 square meters, with tea seats for tourists to enjoy tea. There are 13 cliff carvings on the cliff, including inscriptions by Wu Dingxin, President of National University, ye Xuanping, former governor of Guangdong Province, and Guan Shanyue, the late famous painter of China. From the "Hall" on the "hundred step ladder", you will arrive at the "Lingxiao hall". The main hall is 66 meters high and covers an area of 10000 square meters. There are "Shouxing Yingbin, Ganoderma lucidum giant column" and other landscapes. 19 "Optimus Prime" leading to the top of the "Palace" are vivid, and 20 of them can't hold each other! The last floor is the "viewing platform", such as the natural stage, which is full of beautiful sceneries, such as fairy yearning, Eight Immortals crossing the sea, lions dancing and so on. Among them, a line of sky, underwater moon, auspicious stars and dripping pearls are known as the "four wonders of Lingxiao". After the "Hall", there is a 400 meter long Yandi River, with "upside down lotus, heavenly horses flying in the sky" and other landscapes, which makes tourists forget to go back for boating.

The scenic spot has complete functions, including sightseeing, entertainment and accommodation. Tourists are so happy that they forget to return.

Yuxi three caves

Yuxi three caves, formerly known as Taoyuan cave. Helang Town, 68 km northwest of Yangchun City, 6 km away from lingxiaoyan, is a natural karst cave landscape formed by Ganjiu River in the upper reaches of Moyang river passing through three stone mountains. Yuxi three hole underground river is 3 kilometers long, the river is clear, the whole journey can be boat tour. The cave is rich in scenery, among which "jinzhandiequan", "sanbianshi" and "huangguanshi" are the "three scenes of Yuxi", and "sanbianshi" is the most interesting. The first cave is 400 meters long and 50 meters high, with a dry cave beside it. "Jinzhandiequan" is like golden stone lamps, full of clear springs. The second hole is 330 meters long, 2-5 meters deep and 20-30 meters wide. The river is as clear as jade, and there are many carp in the water. The cave landscape is in various forms, and the "three change stone" is here. The "crown" stone on the top of the cave is similar to the crown. Visitors can take a picture of wearing the crown on board. The third cave is 500 meters long. When you visit it, you can walk or take a boat. There are many scenes in the cave and the image is lifelike. When you visit the three caves of Yuxi, you swing a light boat and enjoy the scenery by listening to the songs. You can understand the artistic conception of "no way out of stone, no sky in clouds" and "another village with hidden flowers". In the duel between "Liu Sanmei" and "a Niu", the light boat has passed the triple mountains.

Chunwan scenic spot

Located in Chunwan Town, Chunwan scenic spot includes five scenic spots: longgongyan, Chunwan stone forest, Tongtian candle, ciyunyan and tongzhenyan.

Longgongyan is more than 1000 meters long with magnificent scenery, like the legendary Dragon Palace on the sea floor. The cave is divided into four sections. In the first section, the Dragon King aquarium is lifelike; in the second section, the Dragon King Hall is lifelike; in the third section, there are treasures such as "Zhengong pagoda", "dinghaishen needle" and "Jinyu dragon bed"; in the fourth section, the Dragon Mother Pavilion, the Dragon Palace tent and the dragon lady bath are lifelike. There is clear water in the cave all year round. Experience the scene, you will marvel at the uncanny craftsmanship of the Creator!

Chunwan stone forest, also known as "hundred leaf sword gate", enters from the "hundred leaf sword gate". Around the grassland, there are countless sword like stone peaks, which are more than 60 meters high and more than 50 meters wide, extremely steep and strange. Pearl River Film Studio, Hong Kong Asian TV station, etc. have shot more than 30 films and TV programs, including Yue Fei.

Tongtian candle is located on the lake side of Chunwan Park in Chunwan town. Standing in the blue water lotus, Tongtian candle is nearly 100 meters high and 30 meters wide at the bottom. It is a pillar shaped peak in Chunwan stone group. There is a stone protuberance on the top of the peak, which is like a candlelit, so it is called "Tongtian candle". At the turn of spring and summer, the green trees and lotus in the water make it interesting. Boating and fishing by the lake make the tourists forget to return.

Ciyun Temple is one of the famous historic sites in Yangchun. It is built on the high platform in front of the rock and has a large natural cave. There are statues of "three saints" in the front. There are more than 20 stone inscriptions on the cliff behind the hall, which were carved from the middle of the Qing Dynasty to the Republic of China.

Qingtian Yuzhu, a huge stone pillar as high as 42 meters, is formed slowly by those crystal clear drops of water.

If we calculate according to the growth rate of one centimeter per 100 years, it will take at least 400000 years to grow to a height of 42 meters. In other words, when Peking Man barbecued food with fire, the first drop of water containing calcium carbonate splashed on the platform of Lingxiao hall.

Among the lava crystals, qingtianyuzhu is an old man. There are many young stalactites in lingxiaoyan, whose birth age is much later than qingtianyuzhu.

The youngest Stalagmite in lingxiaoyan is only 15 cm high, but it began to form 1500 years ago. When it was born, there was no city called Yangchun in the world.
