"Yuyang" is the name of the ancient county, which was set up in Qin Dynasty and got its name from the Yang of fishing water. It was abolished in the Western Jin Dynasty and then restored, and abolished in the Northern Qi Dynasty. In the Qin and Han Dynasties, Yuyang county was located here. In history, "Yuyang" county was changed many times, such as "yongnu" (to the north of today's Wuqing County in Tianjin) in the Northern Wei Dynasty, "Yuyang" was moved to the east of Youzhou (today's Tongxian area in Beijing) in the Northern Qi Dynasty, and "Yuyang" was moved to Jixian in the Sui and Tang Dynasties. The ancient Yuyang city site is located 0.5 km east of liyuanzhuang village, Beifang Town, Huairou County. The site is 300-400 meters long from east to west and 200-300 meters wide from north to south. The terrain is high, and there are many pieces of Qin and Han bricks on the ground. It is said that there are earth walls around it, so it is named "chengzidi". From 1982 to 1984, pottery from the Qin and Han Dynasties, daylight bronze mirrors and five baht coins from the Han Dynasty were unearthed.
