Lin Biao villa, also known as the "sixth five year plan" project, was built in June 1965 for Lin Biao and ye Qun to go south for holiday. It is located in Meiling scenic area, Wanli District, Nanchang City, Jiangxi Province.

During the cultural revolution period, villas belonged to "non open area". No civil buildings were allowed near the area. There was a power grid beside the guard box of the villas, which marked a special boundary and was not allowed to enter without permission.

At the beginning of the construction of the villa, military aircraft were used to select the site. More than ten geographers surveyed the terrain. The site was "not cold in winter, not hot in summer, not dry in autumn and not damp in spring", and it was surrounded by high mountains. There was only one way to enter, which was easy to defend and difficult to attack.

The design of the villa is also very unique, avoiding all the taboos of Lin Biao (Lin Biao is afraid of light and too dark, cold and too hot, damp and too dry, wind and noise). The constant temperature in winter and summer is 20-22 degrees, and the doors and windows are bullet proof glass. The floor is made of teak wood imported from Vietnam, which has good elasticity. Lin Biao and ye Qun's bedroom have a secret passage. The large suite is Lin Biao's bedroom, and the mirror inside is imported from West Germany, which has been clear for more than 30 years. In the war room, there is a sand table in the middle and a military map on the wall. The war room also serves as a dance hall and a projection hall.
