Yulong palace is located 8 kilometers northwest of Yangshan County, Qingyuan City, Guangdong Province, near Lidong village on the side of xiaobeijiang river. It is an ancient and magical limestone cave. People who have visited Yulong palace say that it can compete with Qixingyan and ludiyan in Guilin, Guangxi, Baojing palace in Yingde and underground river in Lianzhou.

It is said that this was the residence of Yulong, the Third Prince of the Dragon King of the South China Sea. At that time, Yulong was demoted, and his wife went through hardships and sufferings. Fortunately, the villagers Li and his wife enthusiastically helped him. As a benefactor, Yulong and his wife had a feast in the cave, and Li and his wife were given farming and craft know-how. Since then, Yangshan has enjoyed good weather and abundant grain. Yulong palace got its name.

The total area of Yulong palace is about 2200 square meters, and the tour distance is 1280 meters. The caves are divided into five layers, which are connected by layers. They are composed of "Baolian", "Baxian", "Yulong treasure house", "Wangmu Niangniang Temple" and "Xanadu". There are many wonderful sceneries in the cave. It can be called a cave and a world.

Yulong palace faces north and south, and its entrance is not big. However, the banner of "Guilin is always a good place in the world, only because it has not come to Yangshan" is particularly eye-catching. Step into the Jade Dragon Palace and follow the flat path for 50 meters to reach Baolian cave. Walking into the cave, the first thing you see is a large stalagmite, which is named "Long March 1" because it looks like a rocket. It is 7 meters high, surrounded by two people, standing majestically in the cave, with a posture of rushing into the sky. This big stalagmite is made of stalagmites. Around the big stalagmite, there are many stalactites of different sizes and shapes, such as the three saints with a sad look, the Erlang God with a arrogant face, the brave and resolute little Agaricus, and the eighteen Arhats arranged in an orderly way, forming a wonderful and endless "world of gods and Buddhas".

Climbing up from the tail of Baolian cave, and then going down a few levels is Baxian cave. This cave is exquisite, similar to Baolian cave. The whole cave is colorful and full of flowing light. The legendary eight immortals such as LV Dongbin, Zhang Guolao and he Xiangu are lifelike and lifelike. At the other end of the cave, there is a stalactite, which is called "infatuation stone", also known as "wish stone". It is very similar to a woman standing by the sea, looking forward to her husband's return.

When we climb the 30 steps, we will enter the hinterland of the jade dragon palace. This is the essence of the whole cave. It is called "ERON treasure house". The stalactites in this cave are colorful and even more strange. Some are like pumpkins, some are like corn, some are like lotus roots, such as Luffa, tomato, Overlord flower, Hericium erinaceus, ginseng, Panax notoginseng, Angelica sinensis and Ganoderma lucidum. What's more amazing is that Guan Yunchang's green dragon Yanyue sword and Bao Zheng's Shangfang sword are also among them, which makes tourists marvel.

The fourth cave is called "the temple of Queen Mother". It is the most spacious, highest and gentle stone hall in Yulong palace. The top of the cave is about 20 meters away from the ground and is more than 300 square meters wide. Visitors here, suddenly feel bright, relaxed and happy. Stop and look up. On the flat roof of the cave, you can see four big cursive characters of "Zhonghua" and "Fushou" and happy birthday in English. On this day, Gong's wonderful writing is like flowing water and clouds, which makes the viewer wonder. In the hall, a huge stone pillar rises from the ground, steadily supporting the magnificent temple. Looking around, the group of lions dancing, knot a lamp, a festive atmosphere. It is said that this is the birthday of the queen mother. All kinds of immortals come from all directions to pray and bless.

Around the "transshipment stone", you can see the Queen Mother's palace, Tianshu, giant shrimp, Dinghaishenzhen, hanwengong stone statue, etc., and go down more than 30 steps. A 20 meter high, 8 meter wide, 2 meter thick stone waterfall stands in front of you, magnificent and magnificent. According to geologists, the stone waterfall has a history of several hundred thousand years. It turned out to be a waterfall, eroded by the decline of the groundwater level. As long as you look at the stone waterfall, you can see the magnificence of the ancient waterfall.

Under the stone waterfall, a small stream is very clear. The water flows out of the dark cave and flows out of the entrance of the jade dragon palace into the xiaobeijiang river. In the whole journey of the Jade Dragon Palace, the murmur of the stream, like light music, is accompanied by the explanation of the guide.

There is also a hole at the top of the stone waterfall, which is called "paradise". You have to climb 60 steps to reach it. Entering the cave, the whole cave is like a picture of idyllic scenery with clear outline and distinct layers, just like Tao Yuanming's peach blossom garden. "The land is flat and open, and the house is just like it. There are fertile fields, beautiful ponds, mulberry and bamboo. The traffic in the fields is like a dog and a chicken. " The curved fertile fields, primitive villages and paths are like three-dimensional relief sculptures, and the uncanny workmanship of nature is hard for any sculptor in the world to look at.

After swimming five holes, turn back. Next to the tunnel like passage, there are huge natural flat stones protruding from the rock wall. This is the last landscape - Yupingfeng, the treasure of yulonggong town. It is 6 meters high, 2 meters wide and 300 meters thick. Under the light, its whole body is crystal clear, and it makes a "cluck" sound when it is knocked by hand. Experts say that such a large transparent stalactite is very rare in limestone caves.

When you come out of Yulong palace, you can see huangyantan dam, one of the 11 river blocking steps of xiaobeijiang river. Standing on the dam, you can see the river and water flowing eastward. You can see the green mountains and sails.
