It is located in Meizhou Island in the west central part of Taiwan Strait, under the jurisdiction of Putian City, Fujian Province. More than 40 kilometers to the southeast of Putian City, Meizhou ancestral temple was built in the early Song Dynasty. At the beginning, only a few rafters were set up, which was called "goddess Temple". After many times of construction and expansion, it formed a large scale.
