Muzaling

Muzaling scenic area is mainly composed of jiuconggou, songhualin, lubanling, wudaling and guanmaofeng scenic areas. Jiuzhuanggou scenic area mainly focuses on water. There are 9 waterfalls, such as Tianhe waterfall and Sandie waterfall, and many scenic spots, such as Longtan and Shuihu, with different shapes. Guanmaofeng scenic area is full of strange peaks and rocks, with beautiful scenery. Lubanling scenic spot is mainly composed of ancient trees and rare trees. Wudaling scenic spot is located in the south of lubanling, with the theme of beautiful mountains and waters. It has the danger of Huashan, the power of Mount Tai, the wonder of Huangshan and the beauty of Emei.

Muzaling scenic spot

Muzaling scenic spot is a national AAAA scenic spot, located in Checun Town, Song County, Luoyang City, Henan Province. It belongs to Funiu Mountain National Nature Reserve and is a World Geopark. The first primitive ecotourism area in Henan Province, the primitive forest is the kingdom of plants and the paradise of animals, including 1886 species of national protected plants such as linchunmu, Ulmus pumila, Photinia, and 188 species of higher animals including leopard, Swertia, antelope, etc.

Muzaling scenic area is the first original eco-tourism area in Henan Province, and also the location base of the feature film muzaling. Located in the southeast of Checun Town, Songxian County, national highway 311 and Linmu highway directly lead to the scenic spot. The scenic area covers an area of 125 square kilometers, including 50 square kilometers of primeval forest without any trace of human activities.

Muzaling is located on the North-South important geographical boundary line of "Qinling Huaihe River", covering a total area of 40 square kilometers, crossing the transition zone between north temperate zone and subtropical zone, occupying the central part of Funiu Mountain with the most complete preservation of biological primary system. Muzaling scenic spot is adjacent to Shiren Mountain, Xitai mountain and Baiyun Mountain. It is composed of Shuanglong waterfall, primeval forest, guanmaofeng and Shilin. This tourist area has a lot of ancient trees and boundless forests. The complete primitive ecosystem is rare in the Central Plains, and the unique waterfall and stone scenery is rare in northern China.

There are 50 family hotels in the tourist area, which can accommodate 1500 people at the same time. It's a good place for ecotourism and a paradise for returning to nature.

Muzaling scenic area of the World Geopark has convenient transportation. It is 120 km away from Luoyang. Zhengzhou Shijiazhuang expressway, national highway 311 and Linmu highway go directly to the scenic area. The scenic spot is adjacent to Yao mountain and Baiyun Mountain in the East and West, and West Tai Mountain in the north. Main attractions

The whole area of muzaling is composed of three tourist areas: jiubanggou, primeval forest and guanmaofeng. There are more than 200 scenic spots such as Tianhe waterfall, bailongcong, lubanling and guanmaofeng.

Environmental Science

The altitude of the tourist area ranges from 950 meters to 2153 meters, with steep peaks and many strange rocks. Guanmaofeng rises abruptly 300 meters high, towering and straight, like guanmaofeng and human face, bearing the beautiful myth of Yiyin, the first phase of China; around guanmaofeng, there are many strange peaks and rocks, with different scenes. The stone horse with a height of 15 meters holds its head high and hooves, bows its back and crosses its tail, lifelike; the stone chicken with a length of about 6 meters flies to the top of the mountain, moves with the wind, flicks its fingers and shakes, and sanjiangjunfeng stands tall and upright, just like a guardian God, majestic.

The drop of 1000 meters in the Jiulong River Valley has created many waterfalls and pools, with pearl like seashells. Green dragon pool, Huanglong waterfall, Longjing, Longtan, or ups and downs, or streams, with various shapes and scenes.

Dragon Waterfall, the first waterfall in the Central Plains with a drop of 113 meters, jumps over the cliff and hangs down. The deep stream is covered with fog and the sound is heard from the empty valley. Upstream of the valley, water and swim, clear spring, not bathe and cool. The complete primitive ecosystem is rare in Central China, and the stone landscape with peculiar shape is rare in northern China. It is a primitive, ancient and mysterious virgin land, and also a fairyland for people's eco-tourism and return to nature.

On March 9, 2013, an accident occurred in muzaling scenic spot, in which a light viewing car collided with a stone wall, causing 19 tourists to be injured to varying degrees. At present, three injured tourists are still hospitalized in Luoyang orthopedic hospital.
