Chairman Mao wrote the word "Bangchui island" in his handwriting. Among the first generation of main leaders of the party and the country, only Chairman Mao did not come to Dalian. Although he prepared to come twice, for various reasons, he failed to make the trip, which has become the regret of Dalian people for generations. So, where did Chairman Mao's handwritten "Bangchui island" come from?

In fact, these words are copied from a poem by Chairman Mao. It is also the only Mo Bao of Chairman Mao who is involved in Dalian.

On August 24, 1965, Marshal Ye Jianying, then vice chairman of the National Defense Commission, went to Dalian to inspect military work and stayed in the beautiful Bangchui Island Hotel, which is close to the mountains and the sea. At that time, the international situation was changing and the international communist movement suffered serious setbacks. Ye Shuai, who has the reputation of "Confucian general" with the world in mind, looks far away from the sea. His heart is fluctuating and his poetry is surging. He immediately wrote the seven rhythms of Yuanwang: "in the Yuan Dynasty, I remember the old man who died, but the red flag is not far away. The crow turns three times in the withered tree, and the geese go back to the old track. Equatorial bow can shoot tiger, coconut dagger dare to kill dragon. Jingsheng's father and son are both pooches, and their rotation depends on revolutionary achievements. " The poem expresses the author's worry that the world revolutionary situation is at a low ebb for the time being. It also expresses the heroic and optimistic spirit that relying on the people and revolution, the cause of international communism will have a bright future. Ye Shuai specially noted that this poem was written "in Dalian, Bangchui island".

The basic style of Ye Shuai's poetry is similar to that of Chairman Mao's, but the difference is that Chairman Mao's poetry is broad and profound, good at drawing, and ye Shuai's poetry is open and vigorous, good at taking close-up shots. Therefore, Chairman Mao always liked Ye Shuai's poems, praised "Jian Ying Shan Qi Lu", and especially appreciated the magnificent and profound poem Yuanwang. Chairman Mao was not only able to recite the poem accurately, but also gave it to his son an Qing and his daughter-in-law Shao Hua on December 26, 1965, when he was 72 years old, encouraging them to study Marxism Leninism and the fighting spirit of the older generation of revolutionaries. Chairman Mao's calligraphy, which is arbitrary, vertical and horizontal, is completed in one stroke. Its white cloth and font all reflect the usual charm of his old people's calligraphy. It is not confined to one style and majestic. It gives people a refreshing feeling and a strong physical and mental shock. Among them, "Bangchui island" is no less than a wonderful work. On April 6, 1977, Chairman Mao's handwritten Yuanwang was published in the first edition of people's daily. At the same time, comrade Ye Jianying's explanation of Chairman Mao's handwritten Yuanwang poem and Mao Anqing's and Shaohua's article rereading Yuanwang is more determined.

From the end of 1995 to the first half of 1996, Dalian Bangchui Island Hotel renovated the entrance and built a large frame facade. What font should be used on the door beam? Some people think that there is the word "Dalian Bangchui island" in Ye Shuai's poem copied by Chairman Mao, so they entrust Dalian Shanda architectural decoration Co., Ltd., which is responsible for the project construction, to copy it and enlarge it. However, Chairman Mao didn't mention his own name when he copied the poem Yuanwang. In order to let everyone who pays attention to the gate of Bangchui Island Hotel know that these words were written by Chairman Mao, he chose the three words "Mao Zedong" in Chairman Mao's inscription from other places to supplement them.

Bangchui island is actually an island shaped like a Bangchui, between Dalian Bay and Laohutan Bay, 0.39 km from the land. It belongs to Zhongshan District of Dalian city. They took a boat across the sea, and finally came to a beautiful place, so the eldest and the second began to search separately. One day, the second child was very tired. He fell asleep unconsciously on the beach by the sea. He was awakened by the sound of water in his dream. He looked up and saw a little fat boy with a red tummy swimming around in the waves. After a while, the little fat boy came to the second child and asked him what he was doing here. So the second child told him that he was looking for medicine to treat his mother . After hearing this, the child immediately ran to a hill, took some light white grass roots, and told the second child, "take them back, let your old mother fry soup and drink, and you'll get better. I'll take some for you when I catch up with the temple fair on April 18. "When the second came home, he fried the herbal medicine into soup and gave it to his mother. After two days, his mother was miraculously cured. When the eldest came back, he asked his younger brother what was going on, and the second told the story. The eldest brother was very happy. At the temple fair, he took advantage of his brother's conversation with the little fat child, immediately tied the red line to the child's body, picked it up and ran.
