Historical evolution
The temple originated from the belief of Lu Zu. When Wang Binlin, the magistrate of Danshui County, came to Taiwan in 1882, he was ordered to welcome the statue of Lu Zu in Yongle Palace of Rui County, Shanxi Province to worship in Taiwan. It was originally dedicated to wanhuayu qingzhai. In 1890, a small temple dedicated to Lu Zu was built on the site. It was not until 1921 that the temple was added to build today's scale. In 1966, the six storey Lingxiao hall was expanded. The top Lingyun hall is dedicated to Jade Emperor, Sanguan emperor, luzu, Guandi, Wenchang and other gods; the middle Sanqing hall is dedicated to Yuanshi Tianzun, Lingbao Tianzun, Daode Tianzun, Donghua emperor and yaochi Jinmu; the lower "menggaosuo" was originally a place for faithful men and women to pray for luzu to support their dreams, which is now used by the Chinese Academy of Taoism, thus attracting great attention He criticized the believers. The guide palace is located on Houshan mountain, about 2km away from the back mountain of Zhengda, with an altitude of 285 meters. It is the only way from Zhengda to Bijia mountain, Zhengda mountain and Houshan mountain. According to folklore, it is not suitable for men and women to visit the guide palace together, otherwise they will be envied and separated by LV Dongbin, which adds a lot of mythological color to Zhinan palace.
In 1882, when Wang Binlin, the magistrate of Danshui County, took office in Taiwan, he sent Lu Zu to Taiwan. It was first worshipped in the yuqingzhai (now Wanhua). After that, many villagers in Jingmei Street died of infectious diseases. The local gentry invited the statue of Lu Zu to Jingmei. The infectious disease gradually subsided. Some people who were blind and saw the light again, and those who had no children for many years and asked for help from Lu Zu's descendants to get their children, so that more and more believers went to worship.
Some landlords donated land to build Zhinan palace in 1890. At first, it was offered to yuqingzhai in cazhoujia (Modern Wanhua). Later, it was offered to Jifeng society in Jingwei, Jiwen hall in Shenkeng, Xingzhong hall in Danshui, Puji society in Hsinchu and wake-up hall in Lanyang. In the 16th year of Xu Dynasty, Zhinan palace was built at the present site. From 1920 to 1959, it was expanded and rebuilt many times, and from 1920 to 1959, it was expanded many times. Since 1991, the seven-year reconstruction project of Weishi temple has been carried out on the principle of not changing the original appearance of the temple.
Main buildings

Dream to solve problems. It is said that there were many "Dream Houses" in the lower level, big or small, according to the amount of donation. Believers have to throw a bar in front of God before they can enter the dream room. Only women are allowed to enter the house, not men. Since the 1950s, the custom of seeking dreams has been gradually abolished. The main hall of Daxiong hall is dedicated to Buddha Sakyamuni, Amitabha and pharmacist Buddha, and Yuantong hall is dedicated to Guanyin Bodhisattva. Dacheng hall is dedicated to Confucius.
After the gate came to worship hall, you can see a pair of dragon pillars, head up. When you enter the hall and look carefully at the shrine surrounded by the red railings, you will find that there is a "dragon Bi" with a dragon spitting beads. Around the drum tower, you come to Fuyou Dijun hall, which is a three story building. On the first floor, there are fragrant guest rooms, providing night lodging, which is the former dream praying room. At that time, if the believers prayed for something and got the consent of LV Xiangong to live in the dream praying room, they could get guidance in the night dream. From the path on the right side behind the temple, you can go straight along the beautiful slope corridor to Lingxiao hall. There are many gods and Buddhas in the hall, which is solemn and solemn. There is a mountain road leading to Confucius hall between the two places. There is a white wall outside the hall.
