Overview of the Museum
The western part of the museum is green belt, and the eastern part is exhibition room, cultural relics room, calligraphy and painting room, reception room, living room and lecture hall. The corridors between the buildings are connected, the inner courtyard door is southwest, the water in the courtyard is clear, connected by bridges, and decorated with flowers and trees, making the courtyard more quiet. On the second floor of the main hall in the north, there is a suspended core roof, and the lecture hall is a hard core roof. The reception hall, contrary to the normal practice of northern architecture, avoids the traditional practice that the ridge of the double slope roof is in the middle, and the slopes on both sides are equal. It adopts the characteristics of southern Zhejiang and Sichuan, that is, the roof is suspended in the center, the front slope is short, and the back slope is long. The grape trellis is set between the south slope and the inner courtyard, and the vines are hanging around. The green leaf powder wall and the tawny floor glass window, the undulating gray roof reflect each other, the whole architectural design is novel
Completion ceremony
At the inauguration ceremony, Professor Wang Xuezhong said with tears in his eyes: "in the golden year of the dragon, the leaders of my hometown set up this art museum for me, so that my soul of painting and poetry can be entrusted. Only in this way can I devote the first half of my life's collection and hard work to my hometown, so as to repay the kindness of the people of my hometown and make it come back to its roots, which is my long cherished wish. I sincerely hope that this art museum will become a link of cultural friendship between China and Japan and a Orchid Pavilion resort for the return of local and domestic celebrities and scholars. "
After the ceremony, people watched the works of art and cultural relics donated by Wang Xuezhong with great interest. The artworks in the exhibition room on the first floor are displayed in five parts: (1) natural phenomena; (2) images of ancient spirits; (3) images of mane paint; (4) images of confusion; (5) images of national style. The cultural relics room on the second floor displays such masterpieces as painted pottery pots of primitive society, Han bricks and Han tiles, giant Duan inkstones, the original works of Tang Yin, Zheng Banqiao, Gao Qipei, Kang Youwei's couplet, Xu Beihong's galloping horse painting, and 31 Japanese handicrafts.
