Linggu Temple is at the east foot of Zijin Mountain. It is the only temple in more than 70 Buddhist temples of the Southern Dynasties in ancient Zhongshan. It was originally located at the site of today's Ming Xiaoling, and later moved to this site due to the construction of the Ming Xiaoling. The pine trees here are towering and the scenery is pleasant. It is known as the deep pine of Linggu. The temple was built in the early Ming Dynasty. At that time, the scale was very large, covering an area of 500 mu. It was 5 li long from the mountain gate to the main hall. There was also a deer garden, and there were countless deer. Now the temple site is only a part of the Dragon King Hall of Linggu Temple in the early Ming Dynasty. Linggu Temple has a famous building at home and abroad - Wuliang Hall (Wuliang Hall). From the base to the top, it is all built with bricks, without an inch of wood. The hall is 22 meters high, 53.8 meters wide and 37.85 meters deep. It is divided into five couplets. The project is arduous and complex. It uses the method of building arch bridge. First, five bridge openings are built, then the joints are closed, and then a large arched dome is formed. Therefore, it is particularly strong. For hundreds of years, it has gone through vicissitudes and is still intact. Some people think that among the existing Wuliang Hall (Wuliang Hall) in China, the Wuliang Hall of Linggu Temple is the most magnificent, which is a masterpiece of ancient stone architecture in China.

Sacrificial tradition
According to the local old people, it is the third day of the third month of the lunar calendar to worship wuliangshen. On this day, people carry meat and wine, hold fragrant paper in hand, and coil up the rugged mountain road one after another. At the beginning of the ceremony, firecrackers, gongs and drums were blaring in unison, and Taoists were ringing the bell. At this moment, people began to burn incense and kowtow, praying separately. After the sacrifice, people will enjoy the scenery on Jiulong Mountain.
