Shaoshuai mausoleum was built on September 19, 2005 by the Research Association of Zhang Xueliang's birthplace in the form of private financing to commemorate the historical achievements of famous patriotic general Zhang Xueliang, carry forward his patriotism, and express the boundless respect and good wishes of people in Taiwan and at home and abroad for general Zhang Xueliang.

Shaoshuai mausoleum is only 3 kilometers away from the memorial hall of General Zhang Xueliang's birthplace, with a planned area of 3000 mu. The mausoleum is composed of five parts: Gongchen square, main gate, memorial hall, yiguanzhong and the forest of steles of the young commander. Li Lanqing, former member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and vice premier of the State Council, inscribed the plaque of "Shaoshuai mausoleum" in his own handwriting, which was hung high at the main entrance of the mausoleum; Zhou Tienong, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese people's Political Consultative Conference, inscribed the inscription of "General Zhang Xueliang Memorial Hall".
Humanistic value
General Zhang Xueliang died on October 14, 2001 in Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. General Zhang Xueliang and Ms. Zhao Yidi, who accompanied him for the rest of his life, were buried in Hawaii. When the Shaoshuai mausoleum was completed, Zhang Xueliang's relatives in Tianjin came to Tai'an County to attend the burial ceremony.
In the main hall, there is a white jade statue of General Zhang Xueliang, and in the side room is an exhibition of General Zhang Xueliang's life and deeds. The clothes tomb adopts a domed antique building, which buries the clothes worn by general Zhang Xueliang and the clothes worn by his wife Yu Fengzhi.
General Zhang Xueliang's special historical value and legendary life experience make him an important influence in the minds of people on both sides of the Strait. Taian County is the place where General Zhang Xueliang started his life. However, due to various reasons, he failed to return to the mainland of the motherland, re read Heishui and Baishan, lived in Hawaii in his later years, and died in a foreign country, leaving a lifelong regret. Before his death, Zhang Xueliang had a will to return to his hometown, and wrote the four words "return to his hometown" to show his will.
In 2005, Shaoshuai mausoleum was rated as one of the 20 excellent scenic spots (spots) of red tourism in the province.
At the first award ceremony of "China tourism brand list" held in 2007, Taian Shaoshuai Mausoleum scenic spot in Anshan City won the title of "China charm scenic spot".
