National key cultural relics protection units. It is located in the courtyard of Nanzhu Hotel (now renamed Yinrui Hotel) at No.6 Beibu Bay Middle Road, Beihai City, Guangxi Province. It is accessible by bus in the city. It is an architectural humanistic scenic spot.
The main building is 23? 1 meters long and 18? 5 meters wide, with a construction area of 855 square meters. Facing south, the cloister is 2? 5 meters wide. There is a porch at the front door, and there are 10 meters long arc steps on both sides of the porch. The roof is surrounded by slopes, and the ground is 2 meters high. It took 23 years for Germany to set up a consulate in the North Sea in 1886 and withdraw in 1908. The German consulate office building was built in 1905. Before it was built, German consular affairs were entrusted to the British Consulate. In 1902, German consuls were sent to Beihai to temporarily borrow the tax office. After the office building was completed in 1905, he moved into the new museum and acted as an agent for Haikou Consular Affairs in Hainan. In 1908, the German Consulate was withdrawn, and the foreign house was sold to others. Now it is used as an office building by industrial and Commercial Bank of Beihai. On June 25, 2001, the State Council announced it as a national key cultural relics protection unit, which is an important material evidence of the German Consulate in Beihai.
