Yuanyang pavilion was founded by Chang Ying, a general of Xifeng camp in Fengxiang Prefecture in the 10th year of Zhouhai period of Qing Dynasty. It was entrusted by the magistrate to commemorate Su Dongpo and his wife. When Su Dongpo was an official in Fengxiang, he came with his wife Wang Fu. Wang Fu is knowledgeable and reasonable. He is very virtuous and praised by Fengxiang people. So later generations built the pavilion in memory of their husband and wife.
Yuanyang Pavilion
In the east of Mipu temple, there are two temples, Baogong and Hugong, which are full of incense. Both of them are historical figures. Baogong is baowenzheng of Song Dynasty, and Hugong is HuZe of Song Dynasty. Because they are upright officials, ask for orders for the people, and the people are grateful, they set up temples to worship. A flat straight road in front of the hall leads to Yuanyang Pavilion in the south. Yuanyang Pavilion is ingeniously designed, with two square pavilions, one corner of which is connected with each other, implying that the two pavilions will never be separated. There is a row of iron railings on the cliff and stone slope in front of the pavilion, which are linked with iron chains. People like to overlook the scenery at the foot of the mountain. Young men and women, who really love each other, prefer to buy a concentric lock, lock it on the chain, and throw the key far below the cliff to show their love and love forever. There are two couplets written on the pillars of Yuanyang Pavilion: "two hearts love each other for a hundred years, a thousand miles of marriage leads by a thread", "Qingfeng Haoyue double witness, vow to lock the same heart."
