Huanglongguan village is located in the southwest of Maqiao Town, Baokang County, Hubei Province, covering an area of 15.8 square kilometers. The village has organized party members and cadres, villagers' representatives and the masses to go to Sichuan and Hebei to learn knowledge and experience. They have agreed to give farmers compensation at the rate of 4 yuan per plant per year before there is no benefit. When they see the benefit, they will transfer it to farmers for operation. In view of the fact that farmers' contracted farmland management ability is limited, the village makes full use of low hilly land transformation and other policies to reorganize the land and make a breakthrough in the development of walnut industry. At the same time, it spared no effort to invest heavily in more than 80 special trademarks of "Longguan" brand series of agricultural products, and established the first walnut industry professional cooperative in the county, with unified seedling, planting, fertilization and management. Now, more than 1100 mu of walnut base and 50 mu of walnut seedling base have been built in the village. It is estimated that the walnut planting area in the village will reach 3000 mu in 2010 and 5000 mu in 2012. Focusing on walnuts, the village also plans to build a forest fruit community, integrating walnut planting and processing, so that the villagers can count the tickets at home.

At the same time, the village makes full use of the environmental advantages of semi Alpine pollution-free and less pollution to develop ecological aquaculture. For many years, relying on the advantages of the huge mountain farm, the villagers of huanglongguan have been in the habit of raising pigs to feed chickens and grazing cattle and sheep. However, grazing all over the mountain makes it difficult for the mountain forest to rest. Therefore, the village advocates raising more pigs to feed chickens and grazing less cattle and sheep. According to the development scale of "ten thousand pigs and ten million chickens" in the whole village, the income of the village can be increased by more than 50 million yuan with only one item.

In addition, the village vigorously promotes the comprehensive development of resources and processing transformation, and actively develops the intensive phosphating industry. In the past, huanglongguan village could only earn a little mining fee by mining and selling. It only relied on its own strength. It was small and weak. In order to solve the contradiction of less available funds, it made a lot of money by processing and transformation. Huanglongguan village boldly explores to use the mining certificate as mortgage, borrow from banks, solve the fund needed for development through capital operation, raise the threshold for the development and utilization of phosphate rock, and focus on the development of food grade phosphoric acid products and terminal high value-added products. On November 20 this year, Yanya village, an economic village, joined hands with Xiangfan qiantai company to reach an agreement. The three parties plan to invest 150 million yuan in a 100000 ton fine phosphate production project in Xiangfan (Baokang) yujiahu Industrial Park, with huanglongguan village holding 20% of the shares. At present, the project has officially signed a contract, the new company is about to complete the registration. After the project is completed and put into operation, the planned annual output value will be 358 million yuan, the profit will be 57 million yuan, and the tax will be 10.14 million yuan.

After the ecological restoration, there are mountains and forests in the village, no peak is not green, and every village and hillside village are covered in the green walnut forest, so ecotourism has become a new green industry.

Attach importance to education

On the eve of national day in 2010, a villagers' Congress was held in huanglongguan village, Maqiao Town, Baokang County, Hubei Province. After obtaining the opinions of more than 900 villagers in the village, the village decided to give 5000 yuan and 3000 yuan to the students who were admitted to undergraduate colleges and higher vocational colleges in the future.
