Nanjing University of technology is a national key university under the Ministry of industry and information technology of the people's Republic of China. It is located in Nanjing, the ancient capital of China. Founded in 1953, the Military Engineering College of the people's Liberation Army (hereinafter referred to as "Harbin military engineering") is a branch of the highest military science and technology institution of new China. It has gone through the development stages of Artillery Engineering College, East China Engineering College and East China Institute of technology. In 1993, it was renamed Nanjing University of science and technology.
