Gansu University of political science and law, founded in 1956, is a provincial college. After years of construction and development, especially the rapid development in recent years, it has become one of the important colleges of political science and law in China. The school is located in Lanzhou City, Gansu Province, which is the political, economic and transportation center of Northwest China, and Anning District, the science and education center of Lanzhou City, with rich cultural atmosphere, beautiful environment and convenient transportation. The school covers an area of 545 mu, with a building area of 220000 square meters. Among them, Journal of Gansu University of political science and law was rated as "the second national top 100 journal" and selected as "the core journal of Chinese Journal of Humanities and Social Sciences". Currently, the university has 550 faculty members, including 355 full-time teachers, 129 professors and associate professors, and employs more than 40 famous experts and scholars as part-time professors in China; there are two provincial discipline leaders and eight candidates for the "555" innovative talent project in Gansu Province, and many of them have been employed as part-time master's Guides in Lanzhou University, Northwest University of political science and law, etc. The college is facing 23 provinces (autonomous regions) in China. The college has a strong faculty and outstanding scientific research achievements. It has published 170 monographs and teaching materials, published nearly 3000 academic papers, undertaken 118 scientific research projects at or above the provincial (ministerial) level, and won more than 100 scientific research achievements awards at or above the provincial (ministerial) level. The college has frequent academic exchanges with domestic and foreign countries, and often holds or undertakes multi-type and multi-level academic seminars and lectures; it has established inter school academic exchanges and cooperation relations with famous universities such as the University of science and technology of England and Worcester University in the UK, in which international students and visiting scholars are sent to each other. The university has always attached great importance to the employment of graduates. It has set up a leading group for the employment of graduates of Gansu University of political science and law, and set up a graduate employment guidance center to provide students with employment guidance, consultation, collection and release of demand information, and organize negotiation and recommendation activities between graduates and employers. For a long time, the employment situation of college graduates is good, the supply and demand ratio is more than 1:3, and the employers generally have a good response to our graduates.
