Beijing Normal University is a famous university with the main characteristics of teacher education, educational science and basic science of Arts and Sciences. On September 8, 2002, the 100th anniversary celebration meeting was held in the Great Hall of the people. In August 2002, the Ministry of education and the Beijing Municipal Government signed an agreement on the key construction of Beijing Normal University.
