  Guangdong Baiyun University < / a > is a private full-time regular undergraduate college in Guangdong Province. Founded by Mr. Xie Ketao in 1989. Baiyun vocational and technical college was established in 1999. In 2005, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed Guangdong Baiyun University. It is the founding member unit of China University of Applied Technology Alliance and the vice president unit of the National New Undergraduate University Alliance.

The campus covers an area of more than 1300 mu, with a construction area of 400000 square meters. All kinds of teaching and living facilities are complete, including standard plastic track and field sports ground, gymnasium, tennis court and other sports venues; all kinds of experimental (training) rooms, student science and technology innovation project studios, a total of more than 250; a collection of more than 1.5 million books; Gigabit Campus Network, campus information management.

At present, there are more than 17000 full-time students enrolled in 12 provinces (cities, autonomous regions). There are more than 1000 teaching staff, including more than 700 teachers.

The university has nine secondary colleges, including the school of Finance and economics, School of management, School of social and public management, School of mechanical and electrical engineering, School of architectural engineering, School of electrical and information engineering, School of art and design, School of foreign languages and International College; three teaching units, including the Teaching Department of basic courses, the teaching and Research Department of Ideological and political theory and the school of continuing education; and the Engineering Technology Research Institute There are six scientific research institutions: Research Center, modern service research center, art and Design Research Center, foreign linguistics research center, University Research Center and University Moral Education Research Institute.

At present, the university has 42 undergraduate majors, including engineering, economics, management, literature, science, law and art. The University actively carries out international exchanges and cooperation, and carries out international cooperation education with 25 foreign universities such as South Korea, Japan, the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Canada and Germany, such as exchange of international students, credit recognition, double degree and undergraduate and postgraduate education.
