School of information, Beijing Union University

The school of information technology of Beijing Union University is mainly to cultivate information technology (it) talents. Its predecessor is the branch of Tsinghua University and the branch of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications established in 1978.

The college has four departments, three institutes and one center, namely computer engineering department, software engineering department, electronic engineering department, communication engineering department, information technology research institute, micro point electronic application technology research institute, sensor network and reliability and Engineering Technology Application Center.

Our college has four first-class disciplines of "computer science and technology", "software engineering", "information and communication system" and "Electronic Science and technology", among which "computer science and technology" and "software engineering" are first-class master degree programs. "Computer application technology" is one of the first batch of master's degree authorized disciplines in Beijing Union University. "Information and Communication Engineering" is a key discipline of Beijing Union University, and "Electronic Science and technology" is a key construction discipline of Beijing Union University.

The Institute of information technology is the main College of the national and Beijing "service outsourcing Talent Training Mode Innovation Experimental Zone" and "Beijing Key Laboratory of information service engineering" approved by the Ministry of education and Beijing Municipal Education Commission.

There are more than 120 full-time teachers and administrators, including 10 professors and 40 associate professors. There are 1 national excellent teacher, 2 famous teachers in Beijing, 1 expert enjoying government subsidy, 1 member of curriculum Steering Committee of the Ministry of education, 1 high-level talent in Beijing, 2 excellent teachers in Beijing, academic and technical leaders of ordinary colleges and universities in Beijing, and a group of high-level talents Young and middle-aged backbone teachers of technical level.

In recent years, our college has established various forms of Sino foreign educational cooperation and exchange projects with many foreign universities.

With the spirit of reform and innovation, the Institute of information technology is making progress and developing continuously.
