Chinese people's Armed Police Academy

The Chinese people's Armed Police Academy (hereinafter referred to as the Academy) is subordinate to the Ministry of public security. It is the only academy in active service to train command and management and professional technical police officers for the public security frontier, fire control and security forces. The college is located in Langfang, Hebei Province, a new modern city, adjacent to Beijing and Tianjin, with superior location, convenient transportation and beautiful environment. The college has complete disciplines and distinctive features, covering military science, law, engineering, management and other disciplines. It has set up 10 undergraduate majors, including border defense management, border defense command, fire engineering, fire exploration, electronic information engineering, nuclear, biochemical and fire control, fire command, emergency rescue command and technology, ideological and political education, and security science. It has six master's degree authorized first-class disciplines, including law, security science and engineering, public security science, public security technology, military command, military political work, etc. At the same time, it also undertakes the task of training division cadres and peacekeeping police of public security frontier, fire control and security forces. Since its establishment for more than 30 years, the college has trained and transported a large number of excellent talents for the army. They have become the backbone of the public security forces in active service, and played an irreplaceable role in the construction of public security border defense, fire control and security forces.

It covers an area of 1500 mu, with a total construction area of more than 350000 square meters. It has more than 6000 full-time students and nearly 400 professors and associate professors. It has five experimental centers, including passport and certificate research room of the Ministry of public security, Key Laboratory of fire fighting and rescue technology, fire physical evidence identification center and guard academic research center. The college adheres to scientific development, constantly improves the school running level and comprehensive strength, and is striving towards the goal of "world-class Police University".
