Jiangxi Vocational College of tourism and commerce is a public full-time college of tourism and Commerce approved by the people's Government of Jiangxi Province in April 2002. Its predecessor is Jiangxi Business School (founded in 1964), Jiangxi Tourism School (founded in 1987) and Jiangxi nuclear technology school (founded in 1964).
