Chongqing Engineering Vocational and technical college is a public full-time ordinary university sponsored by Chongqing Municipal People's government and supervised by Chongqing Municipal Education Commission. The college was founded by the Ministry of coal industry in 1951, held higher vocational education in 1998, and became an independent higher vocational college in 2001. In 2005, he was evaluated by the Ministry of education and won the excellent grade.
