Chengdu University of Arts and Sciences is an undergraduate university of Sichuan Province, which was founded in 1999. The school is a combination of the school of culture and communication of Sichuan Normal University established in 1999 and the school of international business of Sichuan Normal University. It was established as an independent college with the approval of the Ministry of education in 2004, and transformed into an independent undergraduate university with the approval of the Ministry of education in 2014. The school has two garden style campuses, Jintang and Honghe.
