Zhejiang Tourism Vocational College is the first independent public higher vocational college of tourism in China, which is subordinate to the Tourism Administration of Zhejiang Province. In August 2008, it was identified as the construction unit of Model Higher Vocational Colleges in Zhejiang Province by Zhejiang Provincial Department of education and Zhejiang Provincial Department of finance. The college is located on the Bank of Qiantang River, with a campus area of 580 Mu and a total construction area of 205000 square meters.
