Tianmu College of Zhejiang Forestry University (hereinafter referred to as Tianmu College) is a full-time independent college approved by Zhejiang Provincial People's Government in 2000 and reconfirmed by the Ministry of education in 2004.

Tianmu college is located in Lin'an City, the hometown of Qianwang, a famous Wuyue cultural city with beautiful scenery. The campus covers an area of more than 330 mu. With towering trees, green grass and beautiful environment, the campus is rated as "national greening model unit", "civilized campus" and "safe campus" in Zhejiang Province. It is an ideal place for learning.

According to the needs of economic construction and social development in Zhejiang Province, Tianmu university has set up undergraduate majors that meet the needs of social development. There are 28 majors, involving seven major disciplines, including economics, law, arts, science, engineering, agriculture and management. The length of schooling is four years. At present, there are more than 6200 students.

Tianmu college adopts independent enrollment and independently issues diplomas. In 2009, the college plans to recruit 1800 undergraduates for Zhejiang Province. Students who have completed the required credits and meet the graduation conditions will be awarded the bachelor's degree certificate of Tianmu College; those who meet the bachelor's degree awarding conditions will be granted the bachelor's degree certificate of Tianmu College of Zhejiang Forestry College after being examined and approved by the degree evaluation committee of Tianmu College of Zhejiang Forestry college according to the relevant regulations of the Ministry of education.
