Hebei Vocational College of foreign trade and economic cooperation

Hebei Foreign Language vocational college is the only independent state-run foreign language college in Hebei Province. It is located at the junction of the world-famous Beidaihe and Nandaihe summer resorts, with Daihe in the north and Bohai Sea in the south. The college covers an area of 528 mu, with a construction area of 200000 square meters.

In 2014, the college enrolled 2900 students nationwide. At present, the college has 7463 students, more than 200 long-term and short-term foreign students, 523 teaching staff, including 147 professors and associate professors, 45 teachers who have returned from abroad, more than 60 part-time teachers and more than 20 foreign teachers, and more than 50 young teachers studying for master's and doctor's degrees at home and abroad.

The college has 8 departments, including primary education department, preschool education department, English Department, international business department, Western Language Department, Eastern Language Department, tourism department and media department. There are 8 languages, including English, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Korean, Arabic and Spanish, with a total of 52 Majors and directions.

Based on the principle of "wide field, multi-level and complementary advantages", the college actively broadens its ideas of running schools, and has more than 30 cooperation with Tsinghua University, Beijing Normal University, Northeast Normal University, Liaoning Jintong aviation service company, Qinhuangdao radio and television station, Qinhuangdao Great Wall Hotel, Kyrgyz, South Korea, New Zealand, Singapore, Australia, France, Germany, Japan, etc Universities and enterprises jointly run schools. In recent years, 110 students have worked abroad and 60 have gone abroad for further study.

On September 3, 2011, our institute established the only Confucius Institute founded by a college in China at the University of Saint Simon in Bolivia.
